I too have received a few...uh....comments. Of course it has been very recently because I totally overhauled my look. ( see my post about "What's that on your head") Changing my hair, doing my makeup and wearing clothes that are a bit smaller suddenly has everyone taking notice. Actually one (married) coworker has made a few comments that have been a bit uncomfortable. I just blow him off and do not take it seriously, but it will probably get worse as time goes on. Just a part of the experience.. When I lost about 36lbs years ago (2007 I lost 36lbs, but was still heavier than I am now) I got a lot of attention. It was odd because I still weighed 276lbs ( and was morbidly obese) yet folks treated me like I was some super skinny, sexy model or something. ( Not everyone, and not all the time) Now I weigh 262lbs but I still wear a lot of my old clothes. They are baggy and do hide my weight loss. ( 54lbs) But on days I wear things a bit smaller then suddenly the comments start coming. I just figure when my ego needs a boost I will dress accordingly...LOL
We sound about the same size 5'7 cw235 all ass. I never got noticed before . Now Its out of control it is a ego booster but it also make never want to never gain weight again

I think ERP hit the nail on the head. I found my attitude and outlook changed. I walked around with a **** eating grin on my face more often and people respond to that. I had women open the doors for me and say, "Hi!" to me as I walked down the street.
But I am also not going to fool myself, either. I was morbidly obese. I am not now. Yes, there is a physical difference, I'm not going to try to fool myself and believe everyone should have found me attractive when my BMI was over 40. Look at my pictures in my gallery ... even I can tell which person I would rather date.
Your right I was 50 pounds heavier last month

Honestly It makes me feel as if I wasn't attractive before.

Cooked all day and I didn't eat all day figuring I would save room I had 3 small pieces of turkey, and small amounts of cauliflower, turnip and stuffing. It was plenty I was able to taste and enjoy the things I wanted and I didn't miss the over stuffed feeling like I was the turkey like all the years before!!
I over did it and now feel o so sick. I couldnt sleep fearing i would vomit. I had a tiny piece of each bbq ribs, curry chik, bbq chik, scallops, fish, string Beans, pecan pie, apple pie n chocolate cake. Even though it was a fork full each i feel stuffed. Im still n bed ugh.

I feel like I'm doing all the right things (80 Protein, low carbs, 1.5 hours of exercise/day, 800 cals/day), but the weight is coming off SOOOO slowly!! About 3 lbs/week. I'm probably about 20 oz of Water short per day. I can work on that. Should I raise my calories? I'm hypothyroid (treated)...and I know that caused my to lose slowly in the past. Am I still going to have to fight that?

I had a slice of pizza for the first time in 10 weeks. It was heaven. Ate everything except the crust. Filled my pouch up perfectly, this could be a slippery slope for me.
I kind of reverted back to my pre op diet, I am doing a Protein shake for Breakfast and lunch and fish for dinner.
12g carbs
100g Protein
I must confess i ate a slice of pizza 2 1/2 weeks out n it was divine but i also stalled up until 3 days ago sleeved 10/24/13

A month feels like FOREVER... I'm one month out from LB surgery and I'm down 13 lbs but given what I've eaten over this month I feel like it ought to be 2X that amount. Slow and steady that's what everyone says and it will come off and as my wonderful husband reminds me - it sure didn't take me 1 month to balloon to my all time highest weight (that was the day of my surgery).
So, keep on doing the right things and breath and I'm sure the weight will come off - at least that's what I'm believing.
Cheers!
Thank u for motivating me again

There are meds that help with this. I was put on doxcipin. It helped overnight. It makes you very tired so take it at bedtime. My dr says this will stop over time. He gave me a 2 month script so I think I will start to' date='come off it soon.[/quote']Thanks
