Welcome and we're here to help! All you need do is ask. My surgery was Dec. 23. I was off work exactly two weeks. Even though I felt pretty good after the fourth day, I was really happy to have that time off because I went to my office over the weekend to grab some things and within 30 minutes of my usual activity, I was winded and tired. Plus the liquid diet made my stools unpredictable, so being close to home (and a toilet) was great.

Aw thanks carolina. I was actually wondering if there's something i can do to help. I wonder if churches or other organizations offer assistance on these cold nights, like going around giving out blsnkets.

Oh my gosh. You do the same. I hope extra shelters are open for the homeless tonight.

It's 7 degrees right now and they said tomorrow the wind chill will make it feel like -11.

I know right. Especially times like now where it's so cold that they have delayed/cancelled school in many of the surrounding areas. I pray that they open double the shelters tonight because they're saying with the wind chill it will feel like -11 and anyone without mittens and hats will get frost bite if they stay out a few minutes. Scary, scary.

Mmm sounds good. I had 3 squash soup from whole foods. Next week when i start puree phase i'll be having turkey chili and chicken tikka marsala (weight watchers recipe)
