my feet are smaller as well! i have always had big feet, and they are still big, but not as big... i had no idea i would my feet would change too! they never really seemed fat to me before, guess i was wrong!

so yeah, i guess i was just having a major derrr moment there, not thinking of that. thanks!

i was so outraged and appalled last night watching the local news. they had a story of a father who forced his toddler daughter to smoke pot! i was in tears and sick to my stomach after watching the video. the father has some girl hold the baby and he forces her to inhale. she starts coughin, it is so freakin sad. then they are laughin about it. both of them should be taken out and whipped and then tossed away. how can you do something like that to a helpless child. a child that looks to you for care and love? people make me sick. what the hell is wrong with people?

According to federal court records, a videotape (MyFoxCleveland) shows 18-year-old Melvin Blevins of Pataskala in central Ohio holding a marijuana pipe to the mouth of the child, who turns 2 this month. Authorities learned of the tape after a Columbus pawn shop found it in a camcorder. Earlier this month, 16-year-old Angel Dailey pleaded not guilty to charges of corrupting and endangering the child. Police say Dailey was holding the toddler, who can be seen on the video squirming on a couch to avoid the pipe. Blevins was indicted last month in a drug bust that police said included more than $3 million in cash and more than a ton of marijuana. A message seeking comment was left Tuesday for Blevins' attorney, Michael Siewert.

i dont think anyone was jumping down your thoat. we were just expressing our opinion of your post. and this is rant and raves, what did you expect? if you were wanting people to pat you on the back with a here, here and agree with you 100% this was not the place to post it. especially when you come here saying you deserve this surgery more then someone else! come on now! and i dont want to seem insensitive to you plight....i was self pay and i understand where you are coming from. check into doctors in Mexico, it was amazing the difference in price. there is an excellent post about researching mexican doctors, that would be a good place for you to start.

who are you to know that while someone's bmi is lower they have not struggled with weight issues all their lives? my bmi was never as high as yours and yet i have struggled with weight all my life. to assume your weight issues are more pressing and important than someone else's isnt right. and who are you to harbor such anger against those with lower bmi's that self pay for their surgery? i had a lower bmi to start and self paid. who are you to judge that i didnt need this amazing life altering surgery just as much as you? after reading your post i got this mental image of you jumping up and down screaming like a two year old about how its not fair that sally who-body got it and you didnt. grow up. life is unfair. if you have such problems, self pay and stop bitching about it. countless of us others did it. turn that no good anger at the world around and use it for researching ways to get this surgery if it means that much to you. you have gotten several great ideas suggested here already.

she gives me such a hard time about my weight loss efforts on such a regular basis that most times i just tune her out. it got to me yesterday because other people were standing around and could hear. people that i will be dealing with on a pretty regular basis with 4-h. it was just kind of embarassing. i so badly wanted to sink to her level and say some very rude comment about how much less i weigh then her AFTER the tummy tuck and that cookie prolly wasnt very good for her newly required belly. but i refrained. i sure used my frustration to bust butt on that walk home though! and i thought to myself, i am walking 2 miles home and i didnt eat a cookie (or 5) and you drove the 2 houses down you had to go and ate cookies! hmm, my revenge will be sweet! lol.

great job! i was just noticing too that my wedding ring is perty dang loose. it keeps turning on my finger. i thought i would wait a little longer before i have it resized too. congrats again!

i tried the strawberry atkins advantage shake day before yesterday and i could actually drink it without gagging! yesterday i tried the slimfast low carb creamy chocolate...ick. :biggrin: so i am thinking that strawberry will be my taste of choice. i will have to try the optifast. thanks! and i will be sure to stay away from the vanilla.

that is exactly what i was thinkin when i looked at it! how sad. i understand the desperation of wanting/finding funding for this, but wow! i wonder too if you arent right and its some jerkoff's idea of a joke? very sad, either way. poor guy!

jack, omg, how gross is all that crap? yuck yuck. i havent eaten mcdonalds since i was banded, well, i havent eaten burgers and fries, i have had the grilled chicken salad. and when i do go for my kids it doesnt even seem appealling, until today. for whatever reason, today it smelled and looked so good sitting on my co-workers desk!

as i have stated before i am a happy dr h patient. i also shared my very honest opinion/experience in a previous post. there were good things and things i didnt like so much. i have to agree w/ mindy on this. you simply can NOT say that this is NOT true. its not a true experience for you. that is what you should have stated. but everyone misspeaks here or there. just as you stated that one person's experience may be this, someone else's experience with the same thing may be that.

i am getting frustrated with my stupid body shape. i have lost like 37 lbs and am only down like a pant size, maybe 2, depending on the pants. it sucks! i carry most of the weight in my stomach area and now it hangs even worse then before. to fit in the waist the legs and butt of the pants are huge and look funny. a better fit there means too tight in the waist and i get the spillage muffin top look which is icky too. i know i shouldnt complain, i am losing and eventually it will be catch up, its just frustrating.

you could go racing out every morning shouting "Jesus love you", "choose the right path and all will be forgive" or something extra over the top like that. you know, be the CRAZY religious nut job wanting to save everyone... i remember as a kid there was an older couple that anytime they could catch one of us would go into a huge religious speach and try to make us pray w/ them.... can you say creepy?? we did our best to stay away from their house! you could make up little flyers or something to hand to them all standin in your yard...wouldnt that be fun/funny? or go the other way and promote the dark side...???

spike strip/nails in the driveway...just remember to pick them up before you drive on them! Water your "lawn" in the morning. do you have automatic sprinkler system? set it for that time...even if you are watering dirt! even better...water it by hand/with the hose...spray anyone who is on your property "by accident"...oops didnt see you there where you shouldnt be.... be a dear and bake some Cookies and take them out to all of the little asses...make them special cookies w/ lots and lots of exlax or something...omg, wouldnt that be funny..poor bus driver/parents/school....

i have the weird shape thing going on too! and i just about wanted to cry when i looked at the link! i so need help. i am just mad that i am at work and cant measure...what size do i need? what size? anyway, thank you so much! i cant wait to measure and get one ordered. i really think this is the help i am in need of! you guys rock!

i dont like eggs...except hard boiled. every one in a great while i will have a bite or two of scrambled eggs, but not too often. i was mad because i couldnt even eat a hardboiled egg! stuck city. but with having so many in the house from easter i tried one again, and it went down fine. for one day! and now again, not a good one. seems so weird to me how that works! i really like salmon but dont dare try it because of my results with the tuna...think it would be the same?

i had a very weak day yesterday. i made bad food choices and basically didnt give a shit while i did it. until the end of the day when i felt guilty as all get out! i was blaming it on it being that time of the month. but i cant do that! that cannot be my excuse to screw up here and there. it just cant be. i did manage to get in a short walk last night after work. it wasnt very long, but still, something is better then nothing. and i did feel better afterwards. today i am doing much better. made all great choices...low carbin it to try and curb check these cravings i fed like no other yesterday. and i am good. i feel good. besides this dang headache! i guess i just needed to post to keep myself motivated. sorry to post w/ nothing interesting or anything.

funny how that works, but i agree. once in a while it works the other way, something i figure will go down just fine gets stuck and hurts like hell and then something i figure will get stuck goes down just fine. gotta love the unpredictibility i have sometimes. i have found though, that no matter what, tuna fish is a BIG freakin NO!! dont even attempt unless i want to die for the next hour or two (no joke). even the smallest bite kills. and yet most times chicken breast goes down. and i stress most times as it too has been known to attempt to take my life.

i am right there with ya! but so is george strait, dierks, kenny, tim, gary....hmmm.... all of callin my name..... lol!
