I am having my surgery on Oct. 17 and I am REALLY nervous about the liquid diet. I have not met with the dr. yet so i don't know all that entails... could you guys fill me in a little and give some tips on how to get through it???? :car:

I am getting banded next month! I am excited but now that i know it is going to happen i am getting a bit nervous!

I am 26 and will be getting surgery next month! I can't wait! I hope that it is everything that I expect!

My surgeon puts a piece of mesh under the port and connects it to your belly so it is unable to flip.. you may ask your doc about doing that....

I read an article that someone posted on here.... says that it has something to due with the gas they use to inflate your belly for surgery................... I would think that dr. would know that if that be the case however!:rolleyes

:help:I am wanting to get the lap band surgery... I have heard soooo many good things about it, but I would also like to hear the bad. The way my surgon talked, replacement and leakages are not a worry.... any comments that you have would be helpful! Thanks! -
I am in the process of going through all the Dr. apt and thinking about getting the lap band... I would welcome any advice Good AND bad, that would help me to make this dicission... :help:
