Other factor I have a friend that has the sleeve and is now going for Rny next month, why go thru this more than once. Like they say why have hamburger gen you can have prime rib lol good luck on which ever you choose!

  8. When using unflavored you probably want to add it to thinks with a stronger flavor..but I dont notice much of a change. You dont want to heat protein above 140 because it will start to clump.
  9. Have you gotten an unflavored Protein powder to add to recipes and things like Soups? There is a pretty good chicken Soup protein on
  10. Quest bars can be found at GNC or Vitamin Shoppe, the others at Walmart in the diet and protein drink section or grocery store in the health food section
  11. Everyone has different taste so its a matter of trying...a lot of people love Quest bars which nutrition wise are the best..I dont like them..I like power crunch bars but not the highest protein but better than a cookie lol think thin are yummy and premiere protein are pretty good at 30 grams of pro

  13. Biotin is said to help prevent hair loss...it is also in most multivitamins and some people chose to take an additional supplement

  15. Disregard the total lean its a protein blend not isolate but I am going to use it for my liquid pre op next month lol

  17. Congrats..great loss! As long as your hitting your protein goals and following you diet sheet good for you. Remember if something doesn't sit well now try again later on. have you tried vitamin water or skinny water? Im still pre op but I find crystal light to sweet I end up doubling the water..but skinny water and vitamin water zero is not to sweet adds a little change to my day. good luck on your journey
  18. Im a truck driver so eating out is part of my life, but most places will really work with you, im still pre op but I make choices as if post just not always smaller servings lol...my favorite is Popeye's I get naked (no coating just spice).mild tenders and green beans...subway I get egg whites slice of cheese and bacon no bread..I also order off the senior or kids menu and just tell them I dont want a big meal and they have no problem
  19. Rant away, I feel you but your doing great. I have had to do a 6 month program and lose 30lbs but because of one thing or another on their end it has now been 9 months..I got my surgery date this week for Oct 30 (not getting fully excited until im going under) so my 6 month deal will be almost a year but im just keeping my eye on the prize and do my best everyday. Hang in there and this is the time to find new ways to handle stress because surgery wont take that out of our lives. Good luck, hugs.
