I used Dr, Zapata in Monterrey Mexico. Price was 7500. He and his whole team were great!!!!!!! I loved them. Price included everything but airfare. I went on July 27th or thirteen days ago. I have lost 15 pounds so far. Good luck!!!!

Hi I traveled from Indiana to Mexico and back alone. No problems except getting stranded at Atlanta airport overnight and half the next day coming home. Met a lot of nice people while stranded and did ok. Rest of the trip was uneventful. I do not think you will have any problem. Donna Good Luck !!!!!

Hi I was banded July the 27th in Mexico. I have lost 12 pounds so far. I go to the gym almost every day and walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill. I do not have much in the way of restriction, but i am not really very hungry. I think i will schedule my first fill for Aug. 30th if i can. Good luck to you . Donna

He did my surgery last week and he is great!!!!!! The hospital and the hotel were both beautiful. Santos is the driver and he is very nice also. The whole crew is great. I was very happy and i feel great. I have lost nine pounds already. Donna -

Hi! I am so glad i did not have to do a pre-op diet. I went to Mexico to Dr Zapata and he did not make me do that. I am sure it must be hard. I have fallen in love with sugar free choc pudding by Jello. If you need a treat it is great and only 60 cal. for the little cup it comes in. Donna -

Pain following surgery

Hi! I had my surgery the 27th and i feel really good. A little pain at the port if i try to sleep on that side, but nothing bad. I an soooo glad i got my band. Dr. Zapata in Mexico was wonderful. Donna -

Hi! I just returned from Mexico and Dr. Zapata yesterday. I feel fine . So glad i got my band. I have already lost seven pounds and i just had surgery the 27th. I went to the gym this morning and just did some slow walking on the treadmill. Can someone tell me how you start a new thread and why you start one. Thanks Donna -

Hi! I just got home from Mexico and Dr, Zapata yesterday. I feel fine and i am so glad i have my band. I was stranded for a night and half the next day at the airport in Atlanta coming home . Hi. I have only been overweight the last eight or nine years and it feels awful to me. I will be so happy to cross my legs and tie my shoes without problems. I have gotten up to 240 and it is very uncomfortable. I leave in the morning for Mexico because my insurance would not cover.I am very excited.I hope all goes well for you also.:clap2::whoo::car::ranger:

:nervousHi Dr Allen in Lou. Ky. said he would do my fills for a year for 1100. After that it is 250 a fill. I am having my surgery in Mexico . I live right across the river from Lou. in Clarksville In. Does this sound like a good deal for fills? Donna:help:

Hi Melissa, i get my band this Fri in Mexico. I live in Indiana and my insurance would not pay so i am going to Mexico and paying myself.The only good thing about paying yourself is you do not have to jump thru all the insurance hoops. I am soooooooo excited i do not think i will sleep till my plane leaves Thur. morning. Good luck to you !!!!!! -
Hi Has anyone had surgery in Mexico? How did it go? I am going the 27th to Dr. Zapata to be banded. Are fills real expensive if you go to a different doctor? Anyone know?:hungry:

Hi i am taking three weeks off and my doctor Dr. Zapata said that would be plenty. They say you are up and around real quick. My surgery is next week. I am going from Indiana to Mexico for the surgery and some shopping i hope.
