    Can You Eat Soup?????

I eat mostly homemade soups. Veggie and chicken. I have very good restriction and sometimes soup just works better for me. I am losing just fine so I guess it is not hurting me. Donna

2nd fill...is this how i'm supposed to feel?

1007, Go slow when you start to eat again. If you have good restriction it is a whole different ball game. You can not eat much and you need to go slow and chew really well. Best of luck. Donna

    Yeow--I miss...

In many ways it is like the death of a good friend for me. I was really in to comfort eating and you just can not do that when you have good restriction. You get full to fast. I try to do different things for comfort now. A cup of hot green tea or get on this site, or go to the gym. Donna

Treadmill - - Do you hold on?

True, You get a much better workout if you do not hold on. You can really tell it too. I have been trying really hard not to and i feel it much more in my legs. Donna

    where to start?

Treadmill, bike, anything that makes you move-move-move. Donna

    Exercise before and after.

I have always loved the way exercise makes me feel. I used to be a runner several years ago and never had any weight problems. Quit running- got fat. Now i go hiking, love it!!! I also work out at the gym 4 to 5 times a week. You feel so....good when you are done. Lots of water also. Donna
  9. Hang in there ! It sounds like you are doing fine. Just think, you only need to lose 30 pounds, not 100 or more. You will get there. Donna

    i have a problem

Andrea, It is a lot easier to keep from cheating if you do not keep any junk in your house. I live alone so that is not to hard for me. I think everyone has been tempted during the holidays, it should get a little easier soon. Best of luck. Donna

    Confusion????

Who you tell is up to you. All you really have to say is your watching what you eat. Whatever works for you. I told everyone, but thats just me.I think it is funny though that people are now telling me to be careful not to get too skinny. It is funny because I am still 37 pounds from goal, hardly skinny.Donna

    Biggest Loser?

I like the show too and I have also wondered how many of them keep the weight off. I loved the show where a group of people walked across country to lose weight. I hope it comes back on. Donna

    Port Flipped

Wow, so sorry that happened to you. I don`t think he should charge you to fix it. Donna

Noises after a fill, to tight?

I have the noises too, but I do not mind. It does not happen that often. Donna
  18. Once you reach the right restriction ( three fills for me) You really can not overeat on solid foods. You can however eat around the band on soft junk, ice cream, candy, ect. The band does help control my appetite a good deal though, so it is pretty easy for me to stay away from junk. Donna
  19. Congrats Amy!! Can not wait to see pics. Donna
  20. Once you have good restriction (two or three fills) you feel full on small amounts of food. Really full. If you take another bite after you feel it usually comes back up, not good. Donna

Was it like this for you??

It took me three fills before i felt any real restriction. I would however ask what size band you have and how many ccs are in it. That is info you really should have. You sound like you are doing just fine. Just give it a little time and don`t forget lots of water and exercise. It really helps. Donna
