Is gas the pressure pain I am feeling in abdomen area and it feels as if there is a band around my rib cage area. I had my surgery 11-11-13 and have been doing great getting all my protein requirements in, moving around and drinking fluids. This morning is my first day of bothersome discomfort. I took two gas-x strips and have been walking around. Has anyone had this pressure pain?

I agree with everyone I miss RNY Talk ,here when I look up current threads I have to make sure they are Bariatric RNY so I stopped doing that and go to the RNY forum to make sure I am with my group! I understand it is all WL journey but if I have questions or concerns with my procedure then I want someone to reply that has had the RNY surgery. As I am sure someone that had VSG or lap band would be thinking why is she telling me how/ what to cope with this concern.

Hi Ladies! I am back home so is my Husband everything went well for us both. We came home yesterday so only one day stay! I feel a little discomfort as if I did a lot of sit ups and right shoulder pain from the gas they used. I am just do thrilled with everything and that we are home. Thank you for your prayers! Hope everyone has a speedy recovery! (hugs)

Congrats Kbug & Caitie on your surgery dates! It will be here before you know it! I am having my surgery in the morning (❤11-11-13❤) at 6am then my Husband will go in at 7am. Wow! I am so excited! Ladies please keep us posted on your WL journey.

Hi Linds, Brandi, and ILUV! Thank you for your prayers we appreciate them. I am so excited then suddenly I get nervous...hope that is normal. Lol! I have 17lbs. So far when I weighed Friday morning but of course my Husband has lost 19lbs. in 5 days! Wow! My surgery is at 6am and then his at 7am I am ready for the part where I am back at home! Lol! Thank you again Ladies for your kind responses. (hugs)????

I am going through a range of emotions....so excited about the surgery to a healthier life and then I start to fear the surgery and pray all goes well. I love everything about my life my Son, my Husband, family and friends it's just my weight is slowly taking my life the quality of life. I can't do things like I use to. I have did all the test and was cleared on everything no problems. I just worry ya know? Please say a prayer for me and my Husband that all goes well. I can't even look on my November surgeries thread. And I am having my surgery Monday morning as well as my Husband. The time I need the support and advice of others on the forum they change it up and better yet shut it down for over a day!
