  1. I have been on flinstone Complete chewables and Viactive calcium chews with Vitamin D and B12 injections. I take my flinstone Vitamin in the morning and my Calcium before I go to bed. I read that drinking oj when you take the Iron helps with the absorption. I'm going to take the Iron in the am when i take the flinstone vitamin. good to know about the milk though. I wouldn't have thought of that.

  2. I'm almost 8 months out and I just had blood work done this week as I have been feeling so fatigued and having headaches everyday. My doctor said my Iron is low. My ferritin levels are at 15 so he just started me on an Iron supplement. I havn't loss in 2 months due to the way I've been feeling. The last thing I want to do these days is exercise. Has anyone else gone through this?

  3. Had my surgery March 4th and have lost 62lbs so far. I've had alot of emotional bumps in my road since surgery and with that I'm happy with my progress. But as I come up on my 6 month post op I'm feeling tired again,my hair has been falling out and my nails are so brittle. And I'm not liking food much some days. Is anyone else feeling this way? I'm happy about fitting into smaller clothes but not so much how I'm feeling on the inside.

  4. I drink at least 1 glass of skim milk a day. As far as the sugar I try to stay with sugar free stuff and you have to watch the more refined sugars that are in Desserts. I eat greek yogurts that have sugar in them and that hasn't bothered me at all. but when I tried a spoonful of icing that was a totally different story. Let's just say I won't be doing that ever again.

  5. I have gone through the same thing where I won't lose for a week or so but then I'll lose 3-5 lbs in a week. it's all about balance and making sure you get your Protein, Water and walk in everyday. I'm 16 weeks out from surgery and have lost 48 lbs. I'm happy with that and I know I will keep losing. What also worked for me was figuring out my average per week. so as of now I'm losing 3.5 lbs a week which I think is pretty good.

  6. I had my surgery 16 weeks ago and I have lost 48 lbs. I was like you and was getting frustrated and depressed because I wasn't losing like everyone else. I talked to my dr about it and she said I was in the average category as far as losing. I also broke it down and figured I am losing 3.5 lbs a week which is pretty good since before surgery it would take me 2 weeks or longer to lose that. I'm just gonna keep working at it and know the weight will come off.

  7. I had my 1st experience of dumping syndrome last week. I ate some homemade cream cheese coconut butter cream icing off of my daughters bday cake. maybe a couple of spoonfuls. Not even 10 min went by and I was sweating profusely and my heart felt like it was going to pound out of my chest and then the nausea over came me and it felt like my insides were coming up with the icing. I was sick for 2 days. That will be my last experience with sweets for a very long time. Trust me it wasn't worth it.
