  1. Arcing is kinda when a "spark" comes out of the tools and the spark stays connected from the tool over to any piece of metal, causing an arc. (Metal plates and things inside the body wouldnt be affected, i guess). That "spark" could burn you. Not sure how common. May be a precaution. I wasn't going to take the chance on some of my locations! LOL. And my industrial was about two months old. I tried to put it back the next day, and again the next day and I found the hole no prob but it was closed! So mad. I didn't think about changing to plastic. That would prob work fine!! OR, AFTER my surg, doc mentioned taping over the jewelry???? Too little too late, in my case! Maybe you can ask about that?
  2. Congrats guys!! The thirst was horrible. I only got a few ice chips at a time! The first week was rough but I'm less than a month out and it's awesome. I can eat pretty much anything and I get full in 3/4 bites AND, I'm down 30 lbs! Good luck to all of you!!!! PS....it may be emotional a couple days in. It'll pass.
  3. Wow. I guess I just really over-ate for the first time since surg (7/30/13). That really hurt! It felt like a stabbing in my stomach. Hopefully that'll make me pay more attention! :-/
  4. Good luck to you! Things will go great. Stay calm!
  5. Good luck today! It'll be over before you know it!!
  6. Of all the lists on here, THIS IS IT (minus the man boobs!)!! A lot of these are so me! And they're different from some of the others. I would just add not being worried about being an embarassment to my son when he gets older
  7. Banana, pnut butter, & plain yogurt smoothie. It's AWESOME!
  8. Three grilled chicken pieces with marinara sauce and a little melted low fat mozzarella cheese. Stuffed!
  9. Awesome. I was a 2X three weeks ago and was happy to move to an XL. But a medium!? That's great. Congrats.
  10. 1 bite of baked potato, 4 sauteed mushrooms, and 2 bites of salmon. Was pretty good!
  11. There's a chocolate Muscle Milk Protein Drink. It's thick and I think it tastes so good...almost like Choc milk.
  12. Applesauce mixed with banana babyfood. It's actually pretty good!

B/c of my weight, I haven't had one in over a year. Two weeks post op. Bam!!!! Guess it's a good thing?..
  14. Yes!! It is normal! I actually broke down about three days AFTER surg. I started thinking "what did I do!?". But, I had people on here help me through and it really did pass, rather quickly! I lost 15 lbs the first week and am just now at two weeks...going to get weighed again today. Good luck with your surgeries! It'll turn out great.
