    June Post Ops!

    First time since surgery that I'm making a huge dinner for my fam. My Carmel apple cake just out of the oven. Everything from scratch. .no mixes...even the Carmel i made. Irish soda bread in the oven. Next is the shepherds pie. The smell of the cake is driving me crazy. Made a chocolate protein shake to help fight temptation.     Protein Shakes after WLS?...

    Doesn't the G3 have 20 grams of sugar? Seems really high to me. I wouldn't dare drink it.     Depression ?

    Your doc didn't tell you to expect this? Its very common. The rapid reduction in body fat causes a reduction in stored estrogen (its stored in the body fat) this causes a feeding of depression. The best way to fight it is walking. Really..sounds so simple but its true. Walking releases endorphines and those are the feel good hormones.     Tasteless Protein :)

    I posted this in another forum but thought I'd share here as well. Today at work there was a 5lb hand weight on the desk next to me. I was on the phone and picked it up and did a few curls. Then I thought...I've lost over 10 of these in weight...wow...really put my accomplishment into perspective. Thought I'd share with y'all.     No turkey No chicken
