I spent 5 nights and 6 days in the hospital. I had to keep a surgical drain in my for about one month. That was the most painful part of the entire experience. I was tired all the time for about three weeks. Slowly but surely that tiredness went away. At 9 months post-op I am still learning how to eat. My weight loss has probably stopped so I am learning about maintenance.I vomited a total of one time after surgery simply because of eating too fast. At no other time have I had a problem with eating.
I wish you success on your weight loss journey.
Thanks Bakawaka. Do you regret any of it?

I have my pre op appointment in about two weeks and I know I have to do about two Meal Replacement shakes... Any recommendations?

I have questions about recovery time. How long after surgery do you usually stay in the hospital? How long does it take before you can do basic things such as walking and driving?

My surgery is July 29th. What are some things you all are eating for your pre op diets?

You look good girl! I'm 28 and my surgery is scheduled July 29. I hope I'm as successful as you.

Hi. I am new on here. I am scheduled for my surgery July 29. I am getting really nervous about the actual procedure and how my life is going to change. I've researched all the physicals changes but what should I expect as far as my relationships with friends and family? Despite the nervousness, I am still really excited!!!
