I'm here yay! I must say today i feel a little bit on the hungry side! I can't wait to eat something that isn't sweet tasting!

I'm on my way to the hospital!

Mine is Wednesday the 26th. (Tomorrow )

I hadn't thought about this… I have a 1.5 hour drive home… maybe I'll sit in the back of the van and just lay down…..

my arrival time is 11:30 and surgery is at 1:30…. I'm hoping to sleep till at least 8 so I don't have to think about not drinking all morning…. can't believe the day is here!

So I am currently enjoying my pre surgical breakfast of jello! Let the countdown begin!

Well, my summer break has officially started! yay! Tomorrow I will make my shopping list and get shopping!

I really wanted the sleeve, I have 2 friends who have done fabulously with it. My insurance won't cover it so bypass it is.

I need to make a shopping list and go this weekend.

we share surgery dates I don't have to do any pre diet before though…. can't believe a week from now I'll be in recovery !

Pre-Op done! Right now I'm scheduled for 1:30 pm on the 26th… hopefully when I call on Tuesday it gets moved up a little

Good luck to everyone going in today! I have my pre-op this afternoon.I have told a few friends/co-workers of my plan. They are all very supportive of me. I have been researching this since 1999 and have never followed through. My mom was never on board with the idea. She has finally come around and I think that is what I have been waiting on.

I'm so sorry for your loss, our school faced the exact same thing this time last year she was only in the 7th grade. Find someone to talk with, let yourself grieve and remember all the times you had together and cherish your memories.

WOW I just found this group today and it has taken me ALL afternoon to get through all 44 pages!

I haven't been given a pre-op diet to follow. I'm impatiently waiting for the hospital to call me for my pre-op appointment. gah!!!! I have shared with quite a few people at work. We are a very small school and faculty is all pretty friendly and close. I've had a few friends say are you sure???? and when I say yes, they ask what they can do to help.
