I'm reading all these wonderful stories and I'm crying. I was taken to hospital by ambulance yesterday with severe abdominal pain. I was admitted. Had CT scan. It looks like I have Crohens Disease. I haven't stopped crying. My understanding is if you have it no surgery. I'm already so far into process. I'm so sad
What is practical approach to needing clothes?? It seems we will be in new size clothes often?
Tomorrow is my 3 hour Pre OP visit. All done with Psych EVAL. What comes after that?
Good point about clothes. I have spent so much on my clothes and undergarments. Do you give your clothes away as soon as they get baggy?? And how do you cope with needing all sorts if clothes when you're wearing them for short time. Everybody is losing phenomenal weight. What's everybody doing re clothes???
I'm about to go for initial 3 hour work up. Had my psych eval done. Can anybody tell me what comes after that?? All this excitement is wonderfully contagious!
I don't know if I'm off topic here (sorry) but I saw my pcp today and she said to be sure I bring bipap breathing machine to hospital. Did anybody have any problems waking up after surgery?? I'm so excited! Can't wait until I get my surgery date. Happy to see so many success stories. What a comfort knowing we are in this together!
Today is my seminar where I go and my support person which will be my husband. I have so many questions but have never been more ready for anything in my life!! I don't know what to expect but know this is what I need to get my life back.
Wishing everybody all the love and support they need during this life changing time for all of us!
