  1. They said it could be a gastric leak. When you are taking in your liquids do you see any of it going into your drain?
  2. @Imworthit. My doctor told me if my drain was any color than clear, red or pink to contact him ASAP.
  3. I have been doing ok with fluids I am so scared about getting my pouch too full. I am sleeping pretty good but it seems like the mornings are rough for me. It takes me about an hour to get going.
  4. I am 3days post op and I am doing great. I am walking and finally passing gas!!! I will tell my husband that I passed gas and you would have thought he Waa talking to a toddler that is potty training. Lol protein is hard to get in I am so afraid to over stuff myself.

  6. I just left the hospital. I feel pretty good. A lot of gas still in me. My Dr said everything went great. He sent me a prescription for prilosec he told me I have to take this faithfully. Is this true anyone out there told the same?
  7. I have been looking forward to this day for something. My surgery is at 10:15. New me on the way! !!!!!!

  9. I have surgery tomorrow. Just got my ivc filter today.
  10. I am so excited about my upcoming surgery. I get my ivc filter tomorrow. So excited. I started my pre op liquids and just before that my husband gives me my last piece of fried chicken. As I'm swallowing it I start to realize that my life is really changing and I start to cry. I am ready for this I guess I got nervous. Well that's over back to being excited about my life change.

  12. I really feel in my spirit that when all is said and done God will bless us with some children. It just gets to me because I hear from everyone, "when yall gonna have a baby?" It's not like I'm not trying lol. So where do you live. I'm in Dayton Ohio.
  13. I have been married for almost three years. We have been trying to have children for a while. I have#pcos and my doctor said that it would be a good idea to loose some weight so here I am. I am 31 and really want children.
  14. Yeah I am a lot like you. I really have no feelings right now. I am just ready to have it. I'm ready to be healthy.

  20. This is such an amazing feeling. I am looking forward to actually living. I know it's not going to be easy but thankfully I have my husband and family in my corner rooting me on.
