I think I ticked off my pouch :(

Hi. Your stomach is still relearning what it has to do. Don't worry it will/should settle. If it dose not chat with your doctor. All the best.

    I cheated!

Funny how each doctor is different. In the meantime very very very slow and chew lots. If you have any difficulty STOP. I would suggest 2mins between each mouthful, as it takes a while to get a reaction and or the full feeling after swallowing a mouthful, as the last one could still be going down.

    Gas

LOL love that's comment I can relate to it. LOL
  4. It does get easier, take some low carb snack with you all the time. Eg low carb chocolate. That way you don't feel like your missing out

    50's

Had stalled for while but now starting to loose again, getting into old smaller clothes now and bought some new ones another size smaller. I call these goal clothes lol. Since I started this journey I have gone from a XXXXXL shirt to comfortable XL. And can get into Large now ( just) so all good. Another 6 months and I will be at my goal. It's going slowly but in the right direction.
  6. Your welcome. Remember this is the start of a new life
  7. Check with your Dr, However I lost 7 kg before my operation in two weeks just following shakes and very low carb foods that were feeling. Eg scrambled eggs

    50's

Turned 51 this year in may. RNY was my birthday present lol
  15. Hello my name is James, I had my operation bypass last Tuesday, So exactly a week ago, It was a revision from the sleeve gastrectomy to RNY bypass. My problem is I don't feel any different and I'm still able to eat a fair bit the good thing is I have no pain at all from day one. I'm very concerned that it may not work for me. Can anyone tell me of this similar experiences and if I am just worrying about something that should have felt like it was when I had the sleeve done
  16. Hi, even if you just start small like a slow walk to the corner or around the block. I started slow and now every couple of days I walk 6 kilometres which takes about an hour. I do it to music with a good beat.
  17. Great advice from music research your doctor. I originally had the vertical sleeve to years ago I lost 30 kg which is about 50lbs. And couldn't lose any more. However because I researched the doctors online and found great reports about the surgeon I originally had the operation with and I had such good after service I had no hesitation in going back to him again for the RNY. Again no complications and I've had a smooth run get online to some forms and get out and look at the opinions of people about the doctors. After all there are doctors and there are doctors there are mechanics and there are mechanics you want the best for your body not just anyone.

    MAY 2013 POST-OP GROUP

I was on 800 cals a days and had stalled. Lifted up to 900 and lost another 4lbs so yes too low calories may make the body panic in preservation mode. All I know is I'm still loosing and not gaining. Slowly but surely. Getting closer to the target one week at a time. Isn't that what it's all about?
