I've got PCOS and was wondering if any other ladies out there with the same have tried anti androgens? found some but the best seems to be cyproterone acetate - been reading up on it and I'm gonna ask my doc about it. The dianette contraceptive pill has anti androgens in it but not recommended if you're over 35 and obese. Yvonne x

  14. I have lost 42 lbs - I don't have my first fill till 26 April - 5 months after my op - that's the NHS in the UK for you! Yvonne x
  15. Hi Melanie, You could try upping your fluid intake - I find it really helps me lose the weight and stave off hunger pangs. I've been trying to watch my calories lately too and it helps. I try to aim for about 800 per day. You might not be eating enough - try zig-zagging your calorie intake - it's supposed to confuse the body and keep the weight loss going. Try googling - weight loss plateau - it'll bring up more info for you. Hope this helps, Yvonne x

Hiya, just read saras post - so what did you all have for your last supper - I had about a month of them - lol - but my fave is chinese - kung po king prawn - just typing it is making my mouth Water. I haven't had a fill yet so more last suppers to come before then too - bloody terrible! somebody slap me. Yvonne x
