Got the call about 6:30pm letting me know to be at the hospital by 5:30 tomorrow morning. I was supposed to be the third one of the day around noon, unless someone got canceled. Guessing that happened because now I'm the first!!! I'm so nervous about the anesthesia and leaving my two year old for two nights! Prayers, thoughts, and good vibes are welcomed! I have been on liquids since Friday, weighed myself today and I'm down 9, in only 5 days. You'll have no problem losing it!!! I'll take your challenge!

My surgery is on June 7th!

I am a brand new member here and thought I'd post a hello. I'm 34 and as of Tuesday I was 268. I have battled with my weight my whole life. I was always the chubby athletic girl. I am scheduled for June 7 for my RNY. I am super excited and very nervous. I have been heavy my whole life and finally things are in place in my life that I can make a new start. I had my last pre-op appointment on Tuesday, and started my liquid diet yesterday. I feel ok, just really hungry. Having to make dinner for my kids (my hubby works evenings) is by far the hardest part of my day. The hospital I'm having surgery at requires you to be on liquids for 2 weeks pre surgery. So, hello all!! Here's to my last drink of the day! 2 down 12 to go.

Thanks ladies!! I'm on day 4 of liquids. I still get hungry at the end I'd the day. Don't know what the deal is?! Did you have trouble with 2 weeks of pre op liquids?

June 7th for me!!! I'm on liquids now for two weeks pre op. I'm mostly hungry in the evenings when my family is eating. Four days down, 10 to go!!!! I'm ready to be a loser!
