  1. I am almost 6 wks out and down 30+ lbs.... it's crazy!
  2. I would rather have one big surgery/recover then two smaller ones... So I would deff do it all at once If I could!!!

  4. they scheduled my surgery before they even submitted to ins. then submitted the Friday before my date, got the aproval on Weds, surgery thurs.... so it took 4 business days for my approval...
  5. I AGREE, IT'S HIS JOB TO STAND UP TO HIS FAMILY FOR YOU, JUST AS YOU WOULD STAND UP TO YOUR FAMILY FOR HIM.
  6. I would make an appt to see the Plastic Surgeon and see what they think....

  8. I had mine the same day, I am down 23-25lbs and have been at this weight for a week or so... Don't worry about the numbers, just do what you are suposed to do and let the #'s take care of themselves!!! (advice I need to take to heart) I was just at the dr and they said everything was fine, they are happy w where I am!
  9. not sure, but I did everything 1st, dr submitted to ins the Friday before surgery...surgery was a thurs we got aproval on Weds....but the Dr said from day 1 that ins would aprove it. I would assume the Dr is familiar with what ins aprove/not aprove! Congrats! shannon
  10. I had mine 9-26 and had only had 3, untill yesterday......then things got moving pretty well. not sure if the problem is fixed, but maybe now that I am eating more solids it will be. I think at 1st we don't put much in, so we don't get much out... I work in a hospital and one of the RN"s had rny almost 1yr ago, she said glicerin(sp) supositories are great and you can use as many as you need to (per her), so I am picking some up today in case things slow down again!
  11. Poor thing!!! do you know if your blood levels are good? could be off there, plus you just had major surgery...give yourself time to heal and just felax as much as you can! I'm only 5 days out from mine, but feeling great! I'm sure you'll get better...

  13. I'd have to say you are setting youreself up to fail! yu need to eat what you are suposed to eat, not what you CAN eat. just because you can do something does not mean you should, that's what got most of us in trouble in the first place!

  17. will do, I hope you get home soon. it's so nice to be in your regular surondings! I am lucky, my hubby took this week off so he'll be home w me and the kids!
  18. surgery was the 26th, it went really well. I left the hosp the 28th and am hanging out at home now... I feel pretty good. so far I am down about 11 lbs. starting my protien shakes today, we'll see how that goes... thanks for all the suport so far! shannon
  19. iv is in, meds taken...should be leaving for the OR within 30 min... see you on the losers bench! good luck to all of us going today!
  20. my dr submitted friday and I was aproved today!... good thin, surgery is tomorrow!
