I go Monday 11/4 for my final weigh in. My NUT has been telln me to prepare for a Nov surgery. I called to talk with my coordinator today to maybe get a "round about" time I might be havn surgery n she informs me that insurance can take up to 60 days to answer yay or nay. Then IF they approve it, I have to wait to b scheduled n. The sound she had it sounded like January or Feb. Ive come too far to give up but its definitely in my mind.

Each insurance company is different but most is up to 30 days to reply. I would call the insurance company and confirm that they do in fact have your request for approval and see what their time frame is to reply. You may want to ask the Dr. Office if you can secure a surgery date if for example the insurance company says they have to respond within 30 days.

they scheduled my surgery before they even submitted to ins. then submitted the Friday before my date, got the aproval on Weds, surgery thurs.... so it took 4 business days for my approval...
