  1. Did I actually have wls cause my scale sure isn't reflecting it. It hasn't moved in a week. Kinda disappointed.
  2. My doc typically uses them however he doesn't usually use them in people my age (31) unless they have bladder issues in the past. I asked him right before I went in for surgery if I had to have one and it was relief when he said no. Just ask. The surgery is so quick that I think alot of docs are opting out of using them now.
  3. Had a turkey hot dog with the casing taken off on the grill. It was weird looking but yummy.
  4. Feels like you won the lottery, huh!!! Good luck with everything!!!
  5. A turkey meatball with sauce and a lil Parmesan cheese. Hallelujah I can eat food again!!!!
  6. I gained 22lbs at the hospital. Yikes!! That was scary.
  7. I had them in the fridge for about 3 hrs before I tried it. They're not quite a juice consistency. They have kind of a creaminess to them. And they're kinda sour. I think if I take a swallow every couple of hours and not try to down it in one sitting, it'll be better.
  8. I just had my first scrambled egg and it was ah-mazing. Yum!! Felt good to have something with flavor.
  9. I had a few last meals. Fried chicken (which is weird because I never ate it alot to begin with), Chinese food, pizza, baked scallops with lots of ritz crackers, and ice cream from polar cave with a fresh, warm waffle cone. Yum! They were all amazing. And now I'm craving a scrambled egg because that's all I can eat. Funny how things change.
  10. They're 2.9oz. I couldn't even get through one. I tried it late at night tho. Maybe if I try it earlier on the day. I have more of a chance of getting rid of the taste. Lol.
  11. Just tried protein shots today for the first time.… I think I may throw up.
  12. I don't really get stuffed with liquids. It just goes right through. Unless its a really thick or heavy protein shake. I drink all day long to get my water in so I'm definitely drink more then 2-3 oz in 15 min. I'm two weeks out today.
  13. Where do u get them?
  14. I think I've already hit a stall. I'm two weeks out today but I've been hovering around 230 for the past 4-5 days. I have lost 18lbs since surgery. Thank god for small miracles.
  15. I'm finding I'm having the same issue. The ready to drink eas advantage carb control are the only ones that I've found that don't make me incredibly full or nauseous. I've tried the gnc unflavored, cookies and cream, and vanilla. Yuk. I may save the unflavored to cook with but I'm returning the rest. I can choke down the chocolate body fortress from Walmart but it leaves me really full and I can't drink my water.
  16. I found this site that might help everyone out. It shows the best options at some of the major restaurants. http://bariatricdiningout.wordpress.com/ Enjoy!!
  17. Half a cup of Greek yogurt. Thursday can't come quick enough. Never thought I'd be craving scrambled eggs.
  18. 231.4!!!! 18lbs in 9 days!! Crazy!
  19. Does anyone else have zero energy? I'm 9 days post op and I'm finding even little tasks are difficult like taking a shower or doing a load of laundry. I feel like there's a hundred pounds pressing down on my shoulders. I managed to get all my protein in yesterday but was short on my water. Most days I get most if not all my fluid in but I'm short on protein.
  20. I just need to stay off of the food blogs. Eggface, bariatric foodie and power hungry are making my mouth water. Oh and shall we not forget chocolate covered Katie. Ugh!!!
