  1. I'm the same because I'm unsure of what my goal weight will be. Right now I'm at 238 and thats the smallest I've been since probably a teenager. But you look great so keep up the good work!

Thank you! I'm the smallest I've been since probably jr. High.. I'm in a pants size I haven't worn since 8th grade!! It's an amazing feeling though! My short term goal is under 200 and I guess I will see how I feel from there :-)

  2. Perhaps I'm being too hard on myself.. But I find myself stepping on the scale once in the morning and once at night... I'm slightly upset because tonight I'm up two lbs from yesterday.... Is this normal?! I'm following the diet plan from my surgeon, and I'm 3 almost 4 weeks post op...

  3. Baby food is high in sugar and carbs and fat because it's purpose is to fatten babies up. My surgeon highly suggests not going anywhere near it. It also has no Protein so it's pretty much useless for your post op diet

I'm not sure what baby food you are looking at but the food I fed my two kiddos had no added sugar or carbs.. It was just puréed veggies.... You are correct in most of it has no Proteins

  4. I'm 5 days post op too and feel every single thing you're feeling and more. Today is a miserable day. All the gas built back up again' date=' diarrhea, and a white tongue too. I just want to stay in bed. I have had about 24 oz Fluid so far, definitely won't make 64 today. I also have zero help and have to manage housework.[/quote']

I had surgery the same day as you, my tongue is still white, though there are now Patches where it's finally clearing up.. But the gas omg! I wish I could just stick a needle to deflate myself!! That's the most miserable part, no matter how much I move!!!

  5. Just found out I'm having robot assisted laparoscopic RNY. Apparently the stand you on your head for the entire procedure because of the robot.

So they tell me I can look forward to swelling around my face and neck. Hmmmm that doesn't sound like fun at all

I had mine done robotically and I laid flat just like normal surgery... Weird they would tip you!

  6. Wow I just love having to do the Dr.'s work and the insurance's work for them!!! I called the Dr to see if they had submitted my paperwork to insurance' date=' and come to find out they wanted me to see the psych one more time...nice of them to tell me...then I had to call the insurance company because the two times I saw the psych they denied as out of network....but guess what...she is...so they are having to resubmit the claim...I just need to have this over with!!!!!

Also on a side note, was extremely embarrassed today! Went to give blood and found out I'm too fat. MY HUSBAND WORKS FOR THE RED CROSS!!! I flipped out on him!! Why didn't he tell me the weight limit???? He could have saved me a whole lot of embarrasment!!![/quote']

Never heard of their being a weight limit to donate blood... I've never had any issues.
