Just started tuna fish and scrambled eggs today, mainly been eating yogurt and mashed potatoes. I go back to work Sunday so hopefully walking around more will also help my cause...

I'm two weeks post op and I'm in the exact same spot you are, I have lost 17 lbs and haven't moved from there. I'm hoping that its just my body getting used to all the changes and that it will get on board with the losing weight thing we got going on now lol.

Had my pre-op today! Lost 13 pounds so far on my liquid diet! No bowl prep :-D thank God!!! Just have to wash with the "special" soap :-) surgery is scheduled for 8:30 am Friday!!

My surgery is Monday and oak having a breakdown.I have the lap band and I have felt bulimic for two years until they took the Fluid out of my band a month ago. I've been crying because I finally can eat without throwing up and I'm worried I will be back where I started... sick' date=' fat, unable to eat and still fat. A friend of mine just had his lapband removed and had the rny done. He is happier already. I think you will be just as surprised at how great you will feel. Stay positive!!

That's exactly how I feel!! I'm every emotion there is, more excited for a healthier more active life but still so nervous!! I am thankful I only have to do a 3 day liquid diet though!! When did you start your liquid diet?

My surgery is next Friday 4/12 and I'm really nervous!! I start the 3 day liquid diet on Tuesday. My last weigh in was Monday and I began a feeding frenzy, eating everything I won't want to eat again. I feel like crap after eating this food which just tells me even more that I've made the right decision to get the RNY. Is anybody else just as nervous as I am??

I'm in the same boat as you are, my surgery date is April 12th. It still seems so far away but yet right around the corner!! Good luck to you!!!

Don't let this rude woman get you down!! You are doing it for the right reasons which is to get healthy. She doesn't know what it feels like to be you or where you're at in your life. I have had people tell me at work that I am also taking the easy way out and that "with a little hard work" I could be skinny too. I have fought my whole like being overweight and I'm ready to be thinner and most importantly healthier. I commend you on be brave enough to ask for help and then seeking it out! My surgery date is scheduled for April 12, 2013
