  3. I live in North Carolina - my monthly premium is $1200 - but I'm only keeping them for a couple of months, then I will pick up my insurance from work again. Total I'll end up paying about $6000 out of pocket but so much better than the $60,000 + it was going to cost me out of pocket. The concern about being a "self pay" is if anything goes wrong- for instance they had to keep me an extra night in the hospital - all the things like that add up.
  4. Krystal - I found mine at our Wal -Mart.
  5. Grilled Jenni-O turkey burgers on whole grain flat sandwich bread with tomato, onion and reduced sugar ketchup :-) yuuuuuuuuummmmmmyyyyyy!!!!

  8. What state are you in? Instead of getting a loan, I applied for insurance through BCBS Blue Assurance. I pay the monthly premium, and the $2000 out of pocket max and they covered everything else. Check into something like that and see if you can get an individual insurance plan.
  9. I don't mean to sound dense - but what is an LBD?
  10. 4 weeks post op- protein goal 80-100 grand calorie goal 800-1000 I do 3 shakes a day and eat chicken, tuna and cheese. Also if I need to "snack" I'll eat peanut butter crackers and instead of sour cream I use plain Greek yogurt when I'm cooking.

  18. Thanks Nel- I think it was some form of heartburn from the Rotel. Then I took Tums and dumped on them so I took a Dexilant and feel 100% better! HW 305 SW 292 CW 273 GW 150
  19. I'm having a "burning" sensation about central stomach area. Started yesterday when I had some mild Rotel in my meal and then I had some leftovers for lunch and now the burning is back. I took a couple of Tums but have any of you had this? HW 305 SW 292 CW 273 GW 150
