I didn't even have to tell them what surgery I was having. They filled out the employer section of it and they have me submit it to the STD insurance company, Mutual of Omaha, myself.

Yeah, my fur babies are attached to me at the hip! Lol. They're just not going to understand why they can't jump on me like normal.

Oh, when I got mine inserted I thought she was ripping my uterus out. Lol worse pain by far. But, I'm glad it's over and won't have to do it again for a long time. Haha

I've read on a different thread that some women have dumped from swallowing.. I think it's possible.

I've never had any surgeries either. So, really nervous but super excited! Also, my surgery is 2 days before my Birthday. So, that'll be a fun reminder every year how far I've come

We're getting into April now. Curious to see how many May dates we have? Just got my surgery scheduled today. May 2nd for Laproscopic RNY Bypass using the DaVinci Robot.

I'm curious to see how many vitamins you're all taking and which kinds. Did your doctor prescribe these to you? I'm trying to get every benefit from my Flex Spending Account.. But, I have to have a script in order to pay for things like that with it..

I completely understand how you feel. I've had my approval from my insurance for the surgery for 8 days and my Dr's office FINALLY called me today to come in Monday to schedule my surgery. Ugh!

I'm definitely lactose intolerant. I haven't had surgery yet though. So I'm not sure if it will get worse or not after surgery. I use the lactaid milk already since I get awful almost instant gas pains if I use regular milk. I just noticed that I got full really fast with the Protein shake. I guess I was so surprised how full I was with a "regular" stomach. I wasn't sure how uncomfortable I'd be trying to do that with a "pouch".
