I was gonna say the same thing. I've lost 18lbs on the liquid pre op diet...started it 7/22...its not a blast but for the most part I don't feel like I'm starving...it may help you get to your goal of 20lbs!

The pre op liquid diet isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was gonna be...and you do drop pounds fast...the time is flying tho!!! My surgery is Tuesday...coming sooo quickly!! Good luck to you all! -
Going pretty good...some days are a little hard...just trying to keep my eye on the prize...Tuesday will be here before we know it surgery buddy!!

Mine is Tuesday at 9:30. Have to be there at 7:30...super excited and ready to start this new life!!! Liquid diet started 7/22 and hasn't been horrible but I started my period yesterday and have been a little irritable today...but now I'm on a downhill slide!!!

I've been on liquids since the 22nd...it's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be...plus I've lost 15.2 lbs since then...Lol...I can do this!!

The cookies n cream and the chocolate peanut butter are really good too...I'm not big on milk myself, so I put 8 oz of milk in the freezer and let it get just a little icy...then add a scoop of the protein powder...the almost slushy consistency makes it almost milkshake like and the taste is good...plus at 30 grams of protein a scoop you really can't go wrong...I'm getting strawberry next!! -
My surgery is August 6th and I'm on day six of my liquid diet...I gotta say it is alot easier than I thought it would be...today my son turned 15 and the kids wanted pizza, cupcakes and ice cream...the hubby had wings...and I didn't die...I had a protein shake and some broth...skinny is gonna feel soooo good!!

On day 3 of liquids. Today I actually do feel a little hungry. However I had an awful dream that I ate a piece of pizza and was soooo mad at myself...so I know I well keep doing good!!

Same as mine...I can basically do any protein shakes as long as I have 65 grams of protein a day and they are low carb...
