Thanks everyone I contacted my doctor earlier this morning & now Im waiting on a response. I gotta get some relief soon!

So for the past couple days Ive been having a slight pain on my left side under breast & in the upper part of my abdomen...my tummy just feels like its full. Ive also been feeling a gurgling/churning feeling on my left side as well. Has anyone else experienced this or am I making something out of nothing?

Yes! Its horrible! Lol but I'll take the acne over the fat anyday!

A few stalls but other than that Im completely satisfied

OMG Im three months out & still having gas issues..anyone else experiencing this as well? It has to get better than this!

So Im seven weeks out & I still have gas! Sometimes its painful. Is this normal????

Anyone try these? I was gonna try making pizza on them tonight. I'm on a pizza kick. The low carb cream cheese crust I ha last night was good but not the same.

I used tortillas for my pizza & it turned out great!

Welll... It's my birthday! So tonight the fiancé picked me up some Chinese chicken and broccoli-- delicious and sat very well! For my "cake"' date=' he got me 2 sugar free Oreos and a cup of skim milk. It's been such a perfect and fun day! The best is yet to come this weekend! I'm blessed.[/quote']

I am 4 weeks out and on soft foods i can only get 2 oz of meat in before i feel full.... I feel like its not enough to get in all the Protein i need! Anyone else experience this?

Yes! I spoke with my nurse today & she said its normal :/

Can you use a regular blender to puree foods? The same blender that is used to make the Protein shakes.

You can but with the volume you'll be eating, a regular blender may be too big

Silly question, but Im starting the Puree Stage today. I used the blender but with the volume Im eating its not enough for the blender. What did you guys use to puree your food? Thanks

Are you drinking enough Water....and how has your diet been the last few days. When I eat too much carbs I lack energy too.

I get in as much as I can still on a liquid diet so that's all I've been 'eating' lol

It is pouring rain over there. It is here so I'm laying around my self. I did to much yesterday.

Rain is coming later today....I think I've been doing too much..gonna try and rest today

What happened to my energy??!!! The past couple days I've been on the go, now I feel drained! All I want to do is lay around....

I'm a week+ post op. I'm doing alright- dealing with some head hunger occasionally but I'm fighting it. Enjoying some puréed foods now. I don't think I'm getting enough liquids or Protein yet. I can't tell when I'm hungry or full so eating is tough.

What kind of pureed foods do you like?

Just soreness & slight pain around the incisions...the major pain was the gas in my chest & back but gas-x knocked that out. I've found that if I walk more, the pain is a lot less. Dont worry, you'll be fine

Hello & congrats on making this decision! I only saw my surgeon 2x, once at initial visit then again at Pre-op appt. in between those visits I saw the nut, dietician, etc.

Congrats & good luck! I had my surgery on Tuesday & it was better than I expected! Be sure to stay on top of your pain & take something for the gas. I'll be praying for you
