I'm 13 days out and I took a ride on my bike maybe 30 min ride . Felt fine but 2 hrs later right above my belly button iris so sore hurts to bend over . Might of over did it?

It's not numb no more .it took awhile to heal after surgery, it will come back .

You did make the right choice I promise you. I know today might not feel like you did but you will see . I had a ruptured disc and and part of my disc was on my nerve that left my leg numb also and after surgery still had a numb leg . It takes a long time for nerves to heal, my doctor told me it will come back . So just give it time !! Same with the bypass no one told us how hard mentally this was going to be ! And I believe that's harder because your minds hungry , you don't know what your body is trying to tell you . And your sore It is very emotional . But try to be patient all will come together .

I had my surgery Aug 5 th and I have that pain and a burning pain also. I think it's something inside that's just healing slower.

Wow that's great ,I am also 11 day post op and I am only 4 lbs under surgery weight . Now I feel sad ????

My daughter is 15 months out and I am 7 days out . She did the 2 week liquid with me except she did shake in morning shake at lunch and dinner vegetable and meat. she still is loosing weight . Also she makes great shakes . Uses 1 scoop body fortress protein 8 ounce skim milk then she puts a t spoon sugar free pudding or jello or both and makes great shakes! My favorite is cherry cheesecake ! U can add ice if u want thicker shakes . good luck !! also remember make better choices.

Can u do sugar free Popsicles ? they are the only thing saving me right now.

Hey Cris I had surgery the 5 th . Full liquids till the 15 th then I get eggs. I have a Jp drain I have removed wed ,cant wait it grosses me out.also I weighted 247 before surgery and yesterday I weighed 252 . I feel sad and sore .

My surgery was Mon and I feel the same ! I feel like I have the flu.

Aug 5 th for me !

I'm starving ???? this is the second time for me .june 18 was my first surgery date did my 2 week liquid diet lost 20 lbs. then in surgery my heart rate went really fast .... Then drop to low ,Surgeon had the instruments in and had to stop !! When I woke up I was heart broken ! Had to ware a heart monitor for 30 days !! Well that's al behind me now . Just having a really hard time with the liquid diet this time also through all that I only gained 3 lbs back, so that was good.

My surgery is Aug 5, I also am on the liquid diet !

I do body fortress vanilla and skim milk ,but I add a tea spoon of sugar free jello or sugar free pudding or both today I did raspberry cheesecake .... Love it also I do it with ice for a thicker shake or without. What ever my mood is.

I was told 3 grams of fat or less and 5 grams of sugar or less also sugar free pudding and sf cool whip is good for that sweet tooth.

Hi all ! After 7 months with a dietitian I finally am approved ! June 18 for me !

Oh thank you ! I had my phyc eval and he said I had mild depression , so now I'm being treated for this and I go back to my dietitian April 10th I have been so worried that this will stop me . Good luck .. And thanks again.
