Oh and @SNE I struggled with oral sex before and now I love it and it doesn't make me sick to spit. Then again I'm highly attracted to my honey so maybe that's why ...
I had no issue and love doing it but was worried if there is any difference after surgery. Guess I will just have to try.
-
Ladies I do have a question. Before surgery I could deep throat the hubster but wasn't sure if that is not the best thing to do now or does it make a difference? Im just afraid it will make me puke or something. Took me forever to ask this on here. Lol

My surgery was 3/21.
Mine was 3\19 felt happy today. Lets hope same for tomorrow.

I can relate to how you are feeling. I spent most of last week wondering if a whole 2 weeks off work was necessary because I was bored. Luckily my kids are on spring break this week so I get to stay home with them Mon-Wed and I go back to work Thurs. My concern is my energy level. I feel like someone pulled my plug and let all of my energy out. I'm thinking it's due to the 200 calories a day I'm living on during this phase' date=' I just wish I could get some get up and go. I can start my next phase on Thursday which, according to my doctor's meal plan, means tuna on toast and a slightly higher volume of food allowed. I'm very excited and I'm hoping the extra calories will get me through my work day. They frown on me napping at my desk [/quote']When was your surgery?

I am NOT a sad girl....but I can't tell you how many times I cared at work that first month....I cried myself to sleep' date=' I cried in the shower...I just cried . Tok about a month for me to feel like me.HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 225[/quote']

I am 12 days post OP and so beyond bored. What do I do? It has me feeling down a little. Guess im just ready for my days to be normal. Weird not feeling hungry. My husband works tomorrow and I have no idea what I am gonna do. I don't really have friends here.
-
Three more days and I can bend over and use my stomach muscles. Lol it isn't getting here fast enough. And ready to see the doc on the 9th next month. Ready to take the binder off. It's highly annoying. Doing good so far.
-
Does anyone know when the binder officially comes off?? I hate this thing lol!! I know on the 2nd I can start using my stomach muscles and can bend over Can't wait for that
-
Not quite feeling normal. Think it just haven't hit me that I have a new life lol. Besides that I had bad reaction to pain med that was given. Can't sleep for the life of me. Saw the doc today. Felt comforting talking to him. He gave me something to help me sleep. Hope everyone is well and will say a prayer tonight
-
WOW' date=' fentanyl Patches are very strong, I am so surprised they put you on that. It seems like an awful lot of medication. Healing prayers sent your way!![/quote']
Thank you so much. Still feel like crap. Can't sleep for the life of me and still having anxiety issues :/ yes please pray. I truly hate this

Probly fentnyl
Yes that's the one.
-
It was a three day pain patch. And it was taken off of me on Saturday morning and it still isn't out of my system.

4 days post op and I'm "almost" 100% ok. My tummy is a little sore 1/2 from surgery and 1/2 from my period. Slept with a heating pad last night and it improved things tremendously.I'm not taking liquid vicodine like most. That made me sick to my stomach so they gave my tablets of Nophen. I've been taking 2 but starting today I'm bring it down to one.
My incissions are looking awesome. I get my staples out on Thursday.
The only thing I can't do is twist my body because I'll feel it in my stomach... Like a tight soreness. But only if I do this.
How's everyone else doing ??

Today is 6 day post OP for me and I feel horrible. I was fine and when I got home I had bad reaction to pain patch they gave me and ended up in er twice in one day. And now I'm having severe anxiety issues. Can't sleep. Hope the doc can help me tomorrow.
-
You look good girl!! Can't wait till I'm 1 month out lol

I am having surgery tomorrow so scaredHopefully this isn't to late but I was scared to and honestly what helped me what talking to GOD. I asked every nurse, including my surgeon, anesthesiologist, to say a prayer with me. Im not sure if your religious or not but it helps. I still pray to him every day, several times a day his thanking him.

Yay for you! I'm so glad all is going well. Are you able to get all your Water in ok?
Yes. Taking slow sips at a time. But doing water mixed in with va splash(strawberry kiwi) and doing hot chocolate Protein mix that is hot too. With it being hot I think it helps get your tummy moving. Haven't passed gas or went number 2 yet but I have a feeling it will be soon. The tummy is the rumbling like it is coming soon lol
