  1. I just ordered these. I don't plan on eating them quickly. I'm not much of a sweets person, but once a month or so I get a craving and hope these will be good for that. Also to cram some protein in if I'm short one day.

    Nice!
  4. I was told to take 30mins to an hour to eat... I'm just wondering if I'm eating too much...
  5. I wasn't given limits other than a sample menu. Each meal on true sample menu is 4-5oz.
  6. For those of you who are on soft foods, how much are you able to eat at once. I can't really tell when I'm full. I've been able to eat about half a cup of food at each sitting.

    Oh ok lol
  8. I'm officially unsubscribing from this thread...

Looks like you lost enough to me!
  10. Jesse we are a little similar in our stats. My highest weight was 260 and that was my sw as well. Tuesday I was 247. I will only be weighing monthly for now... my sx date was 4/8. I'm 5'8 and 24 years old. Also mine was a revision from the band though.
  11. I'm getting about 3 oz soft foods in 45 mins for a meal...
  12. I had the lap band at 22 and am now 24 and a week and a half out from revision.
  13. Thanks! You too!
  14. Well pizza is my comfort food and I had pizza right before surgery. I was not on any preoperative diet but was trying to eat right on my own. I posted a thread because I was struggling with the craving and people responded, but I did not post when I actually broke down and ate it because I did not want the feedback. Not that I will never have pizza again now, but I certainly won't post in the future if I did... I don't want any drama, but I can see both sides of this...
  15. I read a blog where the lady quit going to a support group because all they would talk about was being able to eat junk food or how to eat it and not dump. She said it was very tempting and did not want to be a part of it. I like seeing what people are eating in that thread but I don't like seing people post things about going outside their doc orders, although it is their life and not mine. It just seems counterintuitive.
  16. I do feel some of the negative comments tho are a way of supporting to help push you, but I just think we should try to be respectful.
  17. There must be something in the water this week. There has been some arguments on several threads. I know I was part of one not wanting downers to hijack happy posts. I usually try to ignore them but like someone said above, lets use this to see what others are eating. You can also kind of expect someone to ask you why when you post about not following the guidelines, so let's all be conscious of our posts: )
  18. Glad you are doing well pebulz.!
  19. That sounds good! I love seafood salad!
  20. I am feeling much better! I had a lot of gas pain but that is gone now. Just some soreness around my incisions. I'm trying to work my way up to walking longer, but I start feeling a little faint. I think it's lack of calories due to the Clear liquids. I had my one week follow up today and have been released to soft foods so I just made my grocery list lol. I have lost 13lbs since surgery so I am very happy!
  21. Just had my one week appointment and I'm down 13lbs! Also I was released to soft foods. My book from my doc says another week of liquids then 3 weeks of puree before soft, but because I'm tolerating liquids well he said I can do soft food!
  22. I was able to walk for 25 minutes yesterday before feeling faint and had to walk home. I was only about 5 minutes from my house. Prior to surgery I would walk my whole neighborhood at a quick pace and it would take 45mins. Yesterday it was slow moving. I want so bad to be able to work out normally to boost weight loss, but I'm not there yet.
