I am still here. The format here so so hard to navigate, I just don't come here often. Surgery date was 3/13. Started duke diet 1/3 and have lost a total of 64 lbs.

I would take anything you have. We have a clothes closet thru my drs office. We give clothes to pele that have had surgery and can't afford new clothes. Especially the formal ones. We have a Butterfly Ball each year and try to have gowns available to anyone that wants to attend. I can pay to have you mail them.

Have you tried the Bariatric Advantage or Unjury protein shakes? I ordered them online and they really are good. Just s thought. Sounds like you have a very supportive family!

Oh yes this kind of thing is my all time pet peeve! Bad thing is I passed it on to my son! Unfortunately he is not so diplomatic in correcting people!

Janel, don't know what we a going to do with you! Lol. You are making us on a liquid diet so jealous! I have liquids for 4 weeks!! We should have all come down and had surgery with you,!!

Post op, surgery was the 13th. Until today I felt like poop! Today is great. Went shopping a little and got a pedicure. I waited til after surgery for that because I couldn't have polish on during surgery. Tonight I am going out to eat with my family, rather going out to watch. My daughter is here with me from out of town and she has to get to go to her favorite restaurant while she is here. I am still on liquid diet for 4 weeks. Everyday really does get better!

Surgery tomorrow. It really doesn't feel real yet. It's 11:45. I've had my last glass of water til surgery. Hospital at 9:30 am surgery at 11:30. I'm praying for the other 13's. Night!
