I'm sorry I don't know Aetna standards. I am having my operation through a military hospital. They utilize the initial bmi from your first appointment. We also had to do very little to qualify for the surgery. Just attend an informational seminar, lab blood work, and one support group meeting. The whole process took only a month. I wish you the best in your wls journey.

The two week diet is for a study being conducted to see the amount of fat loss from the stomach area within the two weeks. To utilize the data for colon cancer operations. Just have to stay under 1000 calories for 14 days.

I like Dannon Light & Fit Carb Control yogurt. It's hard to find it, but usually I can find it at Wal Mart. It comes in Vanilla or Strawberry flavors. If I can remember correctly the carbs were 4 or 5 on it. Sorry I am out of it right now.

I am thankful I have $0 out of pocket. I have Tricare Prime and will be having the surgery at a military hospital.
