  1. So today I had my 3 month follow up (technically 4 months) The surgeon says everything is going great. My loss is looking good at 62lbs since preop diet. Surgery was march 14th. I have also just started experiencing hair loss good thing I have a lot of it or I would probably be bald now! Also experiencing constant nausea when eating or drinking Anything. As well as loose stools many many times a day. They are checking me out for a bacterial infection which will hopefully turn out to be nothing. Just hoping they can figure out my nausea issues as well. Good luck to everyone else!

  4. That's the meds they gave me. Been helping a lot! They've also offered me a patch too? Have you had any experience with one of those? HW 229, SW 214, CW 186 RNY 3/14/13
  5. Thanks. I don't drink any caffeine since I am post op, and no sugar for me makes me dump HW 229, SW 214, CW 186 RNY 3/14/13
  6. Teriyaki jerky. Just an ounce. Not feeling so great today. Hopefully tomorrow much better HW 229, SW 214, CW 186 RNY 3/14/13
  7. Hmmm Xanax? I'll ask them about it Wednesday, thanks. They did give me a medicine to take every six hours as well as some exercises to do three times a day. Plus she was really nice and upped my dose of anti nausea meds to deal with that as well, since that is now preventing me from eating much. Thanks for the advice guys. I love these boards for that reason! HW 229, SW 214, CW 186 RNY 3/14/13
  8. Went to pcp. It's vertigo :/ She is still checking all my labs. Will find out about those on Wednesday, just to be sure. Blood sugars were tested. Was an 87. So was ok. HW 229, SW 214, CW 186 RNY 3/14/13
  9. Not on blood pressure meds. Every time I've been checked Bp has been normal. HW 229, SW 214, CW 186 RNY 3/14/13
  10. Sorry I meant to put that in there....not dehydrated. Getting in 70-80ozs daily. Urine color is almost clear. I have previously had problems with my potassium levels. I also normally eat less than 25 carbs daily. I am getting in 80-90 grams Protein daily. I have made an appt with a pcp...just not my normal one. HW 229, SW 214, CW 185 RNY 3/14/13
  11. Just looking for feedback if I should call my surgeon or pcp. This weekend I have had terrible dizziness with vertigo and a headache in my forehead that won't go away. It started Saturday morning and I actually was in a store and had to grab onto something to keep from falling! The dizziness is especially bad when I first lie down, or move arouNd while lying down, or get up from a lying or sitting position. Just wondering if this could be associated with the surgery. I had rny on 3/14.

My Surgeon & nutritionist encouraged it. They just want us to drink caffeine free. HW 229, SW 214, CW 188. RNY 3/14/13
  13. Mmm this sound delicious! I wish I could handle chicken, just hasn't worked for me.
  14. Taco meat with cheese, tomatoes, olives, salsa, & little bit of sour cream mmmm
  15. I had to do lots of cat scans after surgery due to a leak. Also had one about 6 weeks post op, for the leak as well. they gave me a clear liquid type to drink. I just told them I had rny so they didn't make me drink a lot of it. It did however make me dump every time I had it. :/ good luck with yours. HW 229, SW 214, CW 188. RNY 3/14/13
  16. I had a vacation planned two weeks after surgery. I happened to be one of the 1% or so that had a leak. I ended up back in the hospital for 16 days and had to cancel my vacation. I would play it by ear if you can since you have travel insurance. Congratulations on your ten year anniversary! I hope you enjoy your vacation whenever you may go! HW 229, SW 214, CW 188. RNY 3/14/13
  17. I would love a nice salad and I second the pad Thai.....missing both HW 229, SW 214, CW 188. RNY 3/14/13

  19. I mix unflavored Isopure powder into my drinks either with crystal light or hot tea. I also use New whey to supplement with. I use that because I can take 1oz shots for about 11 grams Protein each. You can find those at wal mart. In flavors like grape, fruit punch, orange. HW 229, SW 214, CW 188. RNY 3/14/13
  20. Last night had homemade prime rib. Was super yummy! Didn't sit well in pouch. This morning one string cheese. Lunch the chicken from a lean cuisine sweet and sour chicken. Yum! Tonight Hawaiian meatballs yum. I seem to be ok with most beef products. HW 229, SW 214, CW 188. RNY 3/14/13
