I'm from Hayward, CA (SF Bay Area) and had my surgery on 3/7/13.

I had my surgery on 3/7/13, so I'm almost 3 weeks post-op! HW: 276, pre-op weight: 271, CW: 253. I'm down 18 lbs since surgery!

I'm currently on a puréed food diet... And I can't find anything I like to eat, so I've been sticking to the Protein Shakes. Any puréed food recommendations?

I have one near me, but I haven't heard much about it. I've been looking for a gym, but I haven't found one I like yet. How is Planet Fitness a different experience? That sounds interesting

Thanks for all of the suggestions, everyone! I really appreciate it. I did some research on the Syntrax Nectars and they seem to have great reviews and a variety of flavors. I'm going to give it a try and see how I like it! Thanks again!

Hi all! I'm a newbie to this forum and have just started my road to surgery. Right now I'm on my pre-op diet and need to lose 15-25 lbs. I've been trying different Protein Shakes, but haven't found one I like quite yet. I've tried pure Protein in the chocolate flavor (I've liked this the best so far), muscle milk light in the chocolate flavor (didn't like it at all!), and Atkins Advantage in the dark chocolate flavor (this one was alright). Any other suggestions for filling/good tasting shakes? Are they all pretty "blah" over all? Thanks in advance for the help!
