Hey guys! I am three weeks post op! Yay!! I have a pretty busy schedule with school and being a single mom so my question is What does your eating schedule look like? What time do you eat (Time between meals) and what are some helpful on the go lunch and snacks?

I haven't heard of these before but I am going to try them! Thanks! Btw what flavor is best in your opinion?

I did not have a drain tube!

I am 17 days post op and it does get A LOT better! I say the first week an a half was just awful for me! I feel so much better now even though I am not 100 % yet I started school back last week (wednesday) and I am able to lift my daughter w/o pain she is about 24lbs. I still get a little dizzy every now and then and I still have a little discomfort but I was so afraid when my surgeon said 4-6 weeks until i'm "me" again meant i'd still feel the same as I did in week one but I feel so much better Hope this helps!

I am wanting to get one also I am now 15 days post op so I'm thinking maybe next spring! Haven't decided what I want yet though

Thanks! I will try that I am 11 days post op. I tried it on some re-fried beans for supper and I couldn't taste it

What foods still taste good with the unflavored protein powder? I am having trouble getting all my protein in and I do not want to lose my hair :/

Just wondering what kind of pain medication you was sent home with and how long did you take it? I am 10 days post op and still really sore especially at night and I only have a couple doses of my pain medicine (hydrocodone) left.

I have when I was doing weight watchers and everybody in the meeting loved it and recommended the products to try especially the dressings.

5 days for me. My surgeon said not to stress "it happens when it happens"

Good to hear! I am 9 days out and still very sore so I needed to see this!!

I am only nine days post op. The only nausea I have had so far is right when I woke up from surgery and it was horrible. I have never been that nauseated but it only lasted about an hour maybe a little longer and then it went away and I had no more nausea so far thank goodness!

I am having trouble with this as well

I choose bypass because I didn't want my stomach completely removed. In some worse cases like throat cancer your old stomach can be reattached even though it is rarely done I like to know it is still possible.

I had my surgery on Thursday the 24th. How is your new pouch lol? I am still really sore but I can tolerate everything the diet allows so far and I am down 17lbs

I had my surgery Thursday the 24th! The second day was the worse i'm feeling much better today just hurts really bad when I go from laying down to standing up
