1. Got to sit with the boys today. 3 months old now!
2. Awe... we are such an awesome group! Love you all! ♥
3. Well at least they are looking for a solution! Hang in there girl!
4. Well that's good. Any idea what is causing you all the trouble then??
5. Chicken is a food that alot of us have a hard time with. I have read that it is because of the stringiness of it. I can do turkey fine so not sure why chicken bothers me so.
6. Congrats to you! 100 lbs is a great accomplishment! But better yet is the decrease in the amount of pills and the fact that you feel better and have more self esteem. Those things are priceless to those of us who have had health and pain issues prior to surgery! I started at 340lbs and was 205 this morning. Iam 8 months out and had gastric bypass to lose weight due to severe back pain; I was told I needed back surgery to fix the problem but had to lose weight first. I have since lost 135 lbs and had back surgery to fix issues. While I am still recovering from that, the pain is lessened and I am feeling better. I wish you continued success! You rock!
7. Sorry you have had trouble on the path to being healthy. While I have loved the surgery, not everyone comes out with no complications. I did a TON of research beforehand; it boarded on obsession. I learned the good and bad of the surgery; I came to the conclusion that the benefits outweighed the risks for me. I think the best thing to let people know is that there are risks, as with any surgery as well as with obesity. You definitely have got to be prepared as well as informed prior to this life altering surgery. I wish you the best of luck and hope you will get better and find some happiness.
8. Our area had no school Monday or Tuesday due to extreme cold. It is -13 with a wind chill of -28 right now.
9. My surgeon said weekly but I honestly can't stick to it. I like to weigh every morning just to see where I am at. I find it helps me stay on track to know where I am at. I think it is fine as long as you dont obsess about it! I am 8 months out and down 135 total; 98 from surgery. Good luck to you!
10. I've tried it many ways and just never have any luck! Except for lunch meat I guess! I can do turkey just fine though. Haven't tried in awhile because I hate the foamies so bad. Guess I should give it a shot just to see. I saw another post about Farm Rich chicken meatballs with sun dried tomatoes from walmart. Thinking i might try them for a start.
11. Always wishing you the best! Will be thinking of you tomorrow and please, please let us know! Hugs!
12. I still can't either at 8 months out! When will u learn girl???
13. I made a pot of pinto beans with some homemade salsa added to them. So yummy!
14. Well today is a GREAT day! The scale finally moved downward for me! Was stuck at 208-210 for weeks. Today was at 205!!!! Only six more pounds until ONDERLAND!! I'm beginning to realize that if I whine about being stuck for long enough, the scale will move! LOL.
15. Find someone that will help you my friend and do it quickly! Hugs and love to you!♥
16. Had my chili for two days and will have again today! Is full of Protein and sits so good in the belly! We had 5 inches of snow yesterday and right now it is -12 with a wind chill of -28! Freezes the nostrils in a second! They closed a ton of area schools already yesterday for today AND tomorrow!
17. You are not alone in the freezing for sure. I think we are all kinda stuck and fluctuating between a few pounds but once this frigid weather leaves I plan to be walking ALOT! Hang in there; we have time to lose more and we can do it!
18. Krystal, you need to keep after the dr until they take care of you! Obviously something is wrong and needs to be taken care of! Keep pursuing it and don't give up. Thinking of you!
19. Bowl of very spicy chili! Perfect on a freezing day.
20. I'm with ya! I used to love winter and hate summer. Now i am always freezing and think summer may be nice this year! NEVER thought I'd say that! LOL
21. Wow sorry you are having complications! Hope they can get you feeling better. Can be depressing not to feel good; this I know all too well. Hang in there and keep us posted so we can support you! ♥
22. How are you feeling Krystal? I have been thinking of you and hope you are doing better! Hugs! ♥
23. My 8 month was on the 21st. Still at 132lbs total lost. Stuck at 208 for a long time now. Have been also having some back and leg pain again lately which doesn't help. Am laying around more. Can't wait to feel at least 80% and for the weather to get better so I can get out and walk! Hope everyone is doing well!! Hugs!
24. I like that one too!! They went down in price at Walmart too now. They were too expensive at first.
25. AWESOME my friend! You look so good!
