  1. My husband at first would not let be get RNy, so 6 years ago I had lap band , now just had bypass in Jan as a revision had reflux so bad the last few years felt like a bulimic....my husband was ok with bypass this time,
  2. Everything in moderation, is my new motto......
  3. I have a few alcohol drinks since surgery, and have no problems, mostly juice and some rum or vodlka...... Will also drink on my European adventure coming soon, just not in excess, my nut sd caffeine is fine, but not in excess.....as in anything else...
  4. I wish I got full like that, I can eat a lot more than that unfortunately.....

  8. i took a bite of my husbands cheesecake last night and had a lolly pop at my sons baseball game yesterday.... No problems with anything so far, wish I did so I would not eat the sugar on occasion....

Love not having to be restricted like with the band, just a little worried about the very slow weight loss.....not having problems with sugar and dumping or anything for that matter......hoping for the best.... Going to Europe soon, and going to enjoy all the fresh food and adventure in store for me.... Staying positive..... For the future.....
  11. I have no problem with salad since 3 weeks out from surgery, I have no problem with any foods, actually.....
  12. I have been using My Fitness Pal.....works ok, I guess, pounds just not coming off like I would like, being very impatient........
  13. Yes, I was 210 Jan 14 th now @ 190 need to lose @50 lbs or so, frustrated but staying positive......
  14. We all need to stay positive, it is so hard at times! Trying to have positive self talk too.....and not weigh everyday!
  15. I have had 2 bariatric surgeries in the past 7 years... And my doctor sd yesterday not to worry so much... That I am over thinking everything , and to relax and you will lose, not sure what to do with that information......Sw 275 11/2006, lap band, Sw. 210 1/2013, gastric bypass...... Cw @190, I still need to lose 50lbs.....L

  17. She had surgery in December and feels a lot like myself , not much restriction and not a lot weight loss either....
  18. I went to. MY first support meeting this year since my band to bypass surgery Jan 14th, I wanted to go, even tough it was my husbands birthday and all.... Needed to talk to real people in person , met one lady that had revision like myself..... It was interesting, but good, will try to make it to another soon, only have them at the hospital , once a month.....my husband was 44 last night, he still got his birthday present, better late than never, I always say........

I also had a bruised tail bone, fell down my sisters steps in her house the month before and was so sore sittin still on bottom for 2 months......I had th keep Turing from side to side.....on my hips, I was so glad whe I could sleep on my stomach again, I also had no staples this time which was great, I had staples, when I had lap band, they were irritating......
