  1. Hi ladies..so again I thought I had yet another yeast infection but after much self examination and research I think I have what is called cytolitic vaginosis (sp)...do read up on it..since we are losing weight very rapidly our hormones are pretty imbalanced thus causing our ph balance yo fluctuate especially weeks before our periods...I decided to try something new an easy to relieve the burning and itch immediately I had comfort...baking soda! I made a paste with just baking soda n Water put some down there..threw on a panty liner and within minutes the burn and itch...gone..apparently baking soda helps with the little know condition we woman are orine to getting and often is mistaken for a yeast infection..however yeast infection therapy can sometimes aggravate the problem even more when there is no yeast Infection present....I am so happy to share this info with you but if you still feel like its something other than CV do go see your doctor. ..

  2. Take a deep breath. ...we all go through stalls ..I actually have one every other week. ..don't dwell on the 2 lbs you've gained...focus on the total weight you have lost..emotions are normal. ..just sit back and instead of saying "I can't eat that doughnut"..say to yourself " I don't want or need that doughnut"..trust me temptation is everywhere we just need to have self control and think of that reason why we did this in the first place!

  3. I am really struggling with reoccurring infections. I am 7 months post op and have had an infection almost every month. Before the op I don't think I had 5 infections my whole life. Any ideas why this is happening?

Oh my goodness. .I'm also 7 mos post op and have had this ongoing problem since surgery .its so frustrating...I just took my second dose of Diflucan today and the burn and itch still there :( I seriously hate it...especially because it stops me from being intimate with the hubby...

  4. I get about 100 g a day my shakes each are about 26g Protein plus my bars are 30 g..I want to say that 60% of my protein is from that and the remainder from "real food" ...I completely agree with you though...I know many doctors have different plans for their patients. ..my dr has me on this plan and luckily I have been doing really good...calories however are a different issue...I am supposed to be between 800 & 1000 and sometimes I barely reach 700...

  5. Don't feel bad....my mom was here helping me recover and she went all out cooking tacos...chicken..enchiladas. .I mean you name it she made it..and I was fine...didn't bother me one bit. ..I wasn't hungry..but then when it was my hubby's turn to get surgery and by this time I was on soft foods. .he couldn't deal...everyone reacts and handles it differently..

  6. Yes!... 25lbs. .is amazing. .I'm 5 mos post op and I can have salads..fish..chicken..1 tortilla. .whole wheat slice of bread...remember food is food right now your new stomach can only tolerate soft foods but its helping you keep well nourished. .be patient. .imagine trying to lose 25 lbs in 2 weeks eating what you are eating now without surgery...you will be fine! :)

  7. My hair is thinning so much I could cry...has anyone heard of taking prenatal Vitamins to prevent it or help it from falling...pregnant women always have beautiful thick hair ...wondering if it has yo do with the vitamins???

  8. Try contacting the District Attorney General. .sometimes they may have means of helping you by directing you through the proper channels on how to make the hospital or surgeon accountable. .also look into the surgeons history. .your hunny may not be the only victim...not sure if you have his medical files already but do get copies of eeverything. ..3 years seems like a short amount of time for a statue of limitations on a malpractice suit...all I can tell you is "fight..fight..fight"..don't take no for an answer...praying things work out for you. .

  9. Yes...it is hard at first to feel full...I however noticef that I get hiccups when I drink too much too fast...also now 5 mos post op I get a lil pain in my chest if I get full...that's why it's important to measure your food
