I'm almost 6 mos. Post op and have been losing about 2 lbs per week...since Thursday I have lost a little over 5 lbs...haven't really exercised this past week because the heat has been brutal herebin Cali....I'm happy to be losing just wondering how I can lose so little at the beginning and now all of sudden getting huge numbers on pounds lost. ..

Not much...I have increased my carbs but not much anything else. ..have bern also drinking more Water because of this summer heat...but overnight I gained .4 oz. ..lol...

I actually found that getting less protein for a day and having more calories helped...I was stuck for 2 weeks ...also increased excercise

You are not alone. I have a 7 yr old who is asking for a sibling. ..I am 5 mos post op and have lost 66 lbs..I have 30 more to ho and I too fear gaining it back if I get pregnant

So finally broke the stall (2 weeks approx.) All I did was have more calories and less protein for a day. ..I lost 1/2 lb...but its a loss...guess I needed to trick my body a lil bit...

I knw I have posted this before but am interested to know if anyone has experienced recurring bloating ..especially at night...I avoid dairy products and anything that can cause gas but for some reason I am now experiencing lots of bloating. ..no pain or discomfort. ..just bloating and feelinf "fat"

Just hit another stall myself this week.. 5 months post op...down 56lbs since surgery. .66 lbs..total...I know I have less to lose now but gosh darn im really having a hard time right now...hubby had sleeve done 4 mos.ago and he has lost over 100 lbs...so unfair. ..lol..men!!! Anyways. ..I'm trying to do just liquids for 2 days ...

Has anyone experience the opposite? ? Both my husband and I had surgery 4weeks apart. ..I have almost no energy at end of the day snd no desire to be intimate. ..I don't know why...he is and has been a gorgeous man ..but I just cantfind it in me to have sex everytime he wants :'(

Did they tell u how you got it??? I had cdiff years ago...I was given a strong antibiotic "in case" I had an infection..turned out I didn't. .so the antibiotic killed the good bacteria in my intestines and the bad bacteria spread. ..I was in hospital and in isolation for four days getting sick agaim of cdiff was my concern when I had rny 4 months ago...its really a nasty infection. ..hope u feel better!

Haven't seen this topic come up here but gave read about it elsewhere. ..have any of you had abnormal pap smears come back after having rny? I have always tested negative for HPV and doc said sometimes drastic weight loss can cause hpv to activate and cause abnormal paps...still waiting on results but am curious to hear from any one that was told the same..

I went through it as well...now I am losing about 2 to 4 lbs per week..I'm 4 months post op I have lost 59lbs. Total. ..half way there...protein protein protein! Oh and also vitamin D helps during the weight loss. ..so take your vitamins daily

Had my 3 mos Post op today I'm down 39.8 lbs since surgery 49.6 since it all started...I've accomplished 47% of weight loss so far.if I keep it up I can possibly reach goal weight at 6mos...so happy I did this!

3 mos Post op and I am experiencing dizziness and headaches. ..I'm ovulating and I have low potassium. ..any thoughts???

Hi Christy..I started at 239.6 (heaviest weight) at surgery which was 01/16/13 I was 229.6...today I weight in at 190.3 goal based on height is about 140-145ish... -

Lately I have noticed that about 3 times a week I wake up with alot of of stomach pain. Enough to not want to eat anything, it subsides after about 30 minutes or so..But it has become more frequent. No nausea or vomiting involved just a whole lot of discomfort.I am almost 3 months post op and I take Ursidol twice a day to prevent gallstones..so I dont think its my gall bladder..Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal?...

I'm two weeks from being 3 months post op and I had blood work done yesterday. ..I was able to view my labs and some were abnormal. ..Dr. send me message stating that my Ferritin levels are high (something to fo with iron) my urine and potassium were abnormal as well..no need to do anything now she said as this is part of the weightloss process....?????... is it really?? Anyone told this before?

Had labwork and my ferritin level seems a l high 194 standard range based on my lab is 60-140....
