  1. I know theres ups an downs after gastric bypass (more downs) Lol but things happen in life that change everything!! I finally got into nursing school!! just makes me wanna work harder so I can show my future patients a healthy lifestyle!!! Have a wonderful week everyone and when your feeling a little down know that this surgery is for the best!
  2. Yea it is so hard i just wish more people in my life would get it! I feel for you! This only goes to show that the people that really care will stay in our lives no matter what!! The one comment i still get and cant stand is ”youve changed” and its.like no im just happy now so u should be happy too!
  3. I understand u completley! It doesnt help that im 22 and my friends really dont get it! And the fact that my parents paid cash for my surgery i always feel like i owe them ugh now im crying!! Its ok i can rant all u want!
  4. Even though im 2 years out the emotional work after this surgery is so hard!! I think sometimes was it worth losing my happiness, friends, and lets be honest the love of my life!! But somewhere i need to understand that im healthy now and can do so much but its hard to let go...
  5. Its totally normal!! My mom used to laugh at me Cuz i would watch the food network all the time for the first 3 months just thinking about food Lol it gets better!!
  6. Im sorry for recommending those!! im 2 years out and they work for me my calcium and vitamin d levels are always fine! We have to remember all our bodies are different and we have to do whats best for us individually!
  7. Im 2 years out and mashed potatoes go down ok a little rough but just make sure there bland!! My doctor said they were fine but we all have different expirences!

  11. Im 2 years post op and I hit a bump in the road so 3 days ago I started my liquid phase diet to start my weight loss again and im down 5 pounds!! Ive also been hitting the gym like crazy! Thank baby Jesus Lol

  16. Im 2 years out and my weight loss stopped after 3 months but picked up again around 5 months in!! Just be patient, follow the diet, and excercise!!! And trust me dumping syndrome is horrible you never want to expirence it! I thought I was gonna die Lol so BE CAREFUL!! Best of luck

  18. Went back to there liquid phase to get out a little bump in the road with there weight loss?? Im 2 years post op and I only need 30 pounds to hit my goal!! But its not coming off!! Any thoughts,or tips would be appreciated
  19. I have pcos too! Im 2 years post op and after my first 30 pounds I couldnt stop bleeding it was horrible! I was then put on birth control for 2 months and it helped regulate it!! But it was making me loca Lol so now im back to irregular period but I do get them more often then I did pre op!!x
  20. I started eating them like 3 months out! 4 Weeks may be a little soon! But when your ready reduced fat wheat thins or triscuits worked for me just chew them really really good! Best of luck
  21. I am a little biased on this my previous serious relationship got extremly jealous to the point where he said ”stop losing weight your gonna cheat on me” but he ended up being the cheater!! But now ive meet a guy who is super supportive and understanding were not together yet but it can work!! Regardless always do makes you happy and if someone truly loves and cares they will stick around through thick and thin (literally) Lol best of luck to u!!
