you're so sweet 2bemeagain I'm all calm now! :biggrin: I am not a stressor at all - I always say that if my worrying or stressing would help then have at it - if not then quit. My DH is a big worryier and I'm always telling him that it's not helping anything. If it would then I'd join ya!! Thanks y'all!!! I'm letting go and letting God take control. I can't stress over it. My boss will hopefully be back soon and take charge of the situation. He was in a bad biking accident and has a stage 3 concussion - when it rains it poors?!?! Anyway - I am much better today and just taking it all in stride :thumbup: Hugs & prayers wombat

I don't have a trainer. I would like one eventually but I'm not ready for that yet. I guess I have the fear of a "Jillian" screaming at me and that just isn't me. I'd just sit there and cry if someone yelled at me :thumbup: I have a co-worker who is also a personal trainer so I ask advice every now and then. I don't want to abuse that so I haven't bothered her in forever. Thanks Stephanie!! I didn't realize how weak I was. I literally had every machine on the absolute lowest and could barely do 10 reps. I still get lightheaded a lot so I try to be careful and I eat lots of salt (cause the doc said I could and I LOVE it) :crying:

smilinapple - you do sound a little tight. I can't eat Breakfast much either. If I try to eat something it takes an hour for me to get down soggy Cereal. I mostly drink muscle milk lite or slim fast for breakfast and yes I have to drink them slowly. You might want to start you morning with a cup of coffee or hot tea to soften things up a bit. That might make it a little easier for you :cursing: I can eat lunch mostly ok but I'm pretty good with dinner like you. I just really have to remember that I have issues and pause between bites to get a "feel" for how things are going. Good luck!! {{hugs}} wombat

Bigbaby - yea for staring the couch to 5K!!!! I do a little (yes very little) weight training and I've started doing yoga for stretching and flexibility. Yesterday was my off jogging day so I walked for 20 min on the treadmill and did a round though the machines on the lowest weight. I am such a weakling. Mostly I just do this jogging program. Once I get through the program I think I will move it to an everyday (rest on Sundays) kindof thing. EMCGOVERN - welcome!!! You have come to a great place to get support!! I would not have made it without the help of all these wonderful people! As supportive as my hubby is, he doesn't understand like the people here do :cursing:

Did day 2 of week 3 this morning. I really didn't want to do it this morning but I forced myself anyway This is getting a little easier. My head says I can't run that long but I'm making it. woohoo Candy and 2bemeagain!!! Things are crazy for me at work and I'm starting back to school at night tomorrow. My co-worker got fired for an outburst he had and he kicked a whole in the wall. I had all of his work transferred to me on top of mine - which I was supposed to be sending all of mine to him so that I could work on another project for 6 months. Just crazy!! I'm feeling a little overwhelmed but I know God is in control and that He will not give me more than I can handle. hugs & prayers, wombat

Our perception is just messed up. I was shopping this last weekend. I picked up a size 10 jeans and thought they were way too small. They fit (yea!). Then I go looking for another style of jeans and when I look at the size 10 I think that they look huge - like look at the size of that butt!! They fit too (yea!). what's up with that? wombat

I do it both on the treadmill and outside. I'm on week 3 :mad: I'm 5'0" so my walk is a 3.0mph and my jog is 4.3-4.5 depending. Good luck to you on doing the program!! wombat

Lulu - Oh I'm so hoping that you don't get diagnosed with RA! I've had it for 1 1/2 years. It's manageable :scared2: and hopefully with treatments I won't get too misshapen. I am all about joint surgery when the time comes!! Maybe it's just good old osteo arthritis :wink2: and a round of anti-inflammatories will do the trick! Ran week 3 today!!! OMG!! I was really scared of this one but I made through the whole thing. I had to up my speed too :wub: -

I am thankful for my DH. We have been through the wringer, especially before he became a Christian 7 years ago. I could not be happier or more in love with the man God gave to me. (try telling me that 8 years ago - lol). God is good and I am thankful every day for the blessings He has given me. wombat

SATISFIED, but needing some assistance

I have switched from slimfast to MuscleMilk Lite. It saves me 60 calories and gives me WAY more Protein. I have great difficulty with breakfast. It took me an hour to get down 1 cup of Cereal. On mornings that I run I drink a MuscleMilk Lite so that I have the protein. Other mornings I just sit in my office and work on getting it down Are you taking chewable Vitamins and minerals? You can also get AnyWhey Protein Powder. It has no flavor and you can add it to your soups, shakes or whatever you are having. Good luck getting through this "extra" tightness wombat -

Yep - I snack too if I get hungry!! Otherwise I have a harder time controlling myself when I DO get to eat that I immediately get the golfball feeling or PB after a few bites. I love the 100cal popcorn bags, pretzels, nuts - whatever works. And just enough to calm the tummy. If I eat too much as a snack I won't be able to eat my next meal. Yea suzzzie - come on to Texas!!!! What part are you moving to? Sorry it's so cold where you are! I would love to move North because it is soooooo pretty the rest of the year. Hi kozel10!! Usually reflux like that at night needs you need a tiny unfill. I don't have this issue but have read it on here somewhere. Try doing a search for nighttime reflux because this is exactly what they describe! good luck to you! wombat

Congratulations Yikes! :thumbup: Love the name - that's one of my favorite words to use! Sometimes it is a struggle to get enough in - especially protein. Sure, I can get in some calories if I surround it with a milkshake but protein is tougher! Sounds like you are doing really well with the liquid part. Mushies will be more satisfying and easier for you. I still had trouble getting enough protein but I felt better getting to have starches :eek: You are on your way!! wombat

Don't push it too much too soon or you'll be out of commission for longer :thumbup: Mindy - I'm there with you :eek: We CAN get back on track and get this program done! I'm determined to enjoy running by the time I'm done! Ok - little NSV today. My twin sister has always been smaller than me (ALWAYS) She is one size down from me now and that's already bugging her. Today she asked me for this jogging program and told me how much she weighs - I only weight 8 pounds more than her!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's on a mission now for me not to catch up with her but that's ok I got the band to help me out (hehehehe) I'm going to do yoga (for the first time) tonight. I bought all the goodies (much to DH's chagrin) so we'll see how it works out! Have a fabulous Sunday everyone! wombat -

Ran another week 2 day today :thumbdown: I went outdoors since it was nice here today (low 70's). I have to say it is easier to run on the treadmill now that I have a comparison. It seems to help move me along better. I'm planning on two days at work and 1 outside (weather permitting). On to week 3 .... y'all have a great weekend! wombat
