Anyone else feel like this about 2 weeks in??

Hello there :-) I'm down 30 pounds between pre op and 1 week post op and I feel like I don't see a 30 pound difference in myself... I have a fear that I will lose the weight and never feel skinnier than I am now... Anyone else have this problem??

Started with children's meltaway and now just break up 2 adult pills and eat them every minute.

I'm not sore anymore, but keep up with some tylenol. It'll do the trick without getting the side effects from the pain killers. And I wish I had something soft too. Looking forward to being aloud to having farina tomorrow as part of step 2!

When did you start eating normal meals? I'm 6 days post op and I'm feeling very grumpy on only liquids.... Blah. I go to my doctor for my one week tomorrow and they will give me my food timeline, but I just thought I'd ask everyone else!

I'm 5 days post op and I'm getting ridiculous hiccups and kind of a burp with it. I'm only eating liquids so it can't be that I'm too full...

I'm waiting to go innnnnnn. So nervous!!!!!

In 12 hours I will be leaving for the hospital.... So nervous!!!!

When was your surgery??

Have you been to the dentist yet? I would get in for an emergency visit this morning if you can. The golfball size gum tissue could be one of a few things. You could have an abscess and potentially need a root canal. It could be calculus (tartar build up) irritating the gums and a good scaling will reduce the inflammation. it could be a pyogenic granuloma (which literally is "an overgrowth of tissue")--but this last one is more common if you a pregnant. Hope your results are good! A good dental hygienist should not finish a post without saying floss floss floss

Terrible news.... I have an infection in my gums that has grown into a golfball size so I highly doubt they will let me have my surgery on Tuesday.... I am beyond devastated...... I am going to call the doctor tomorrow and see about rescheduling. One of the doctors is going on vacation and they aren't doing anyone for 2 weeks while he is away. I can't even believe this is happening....

I can't believe one week from right now I will be recovering in the hospital. Holy bejeez, this happened so quick! Hope this week fliiiiiies by!!!

I feel like I'm about to die.... I've taken pain meds and nothing! I stopped two months before my surgery and my date is in 10 days and this is my first period. Holy hell... Please tell me this goes away soon....

Tomorrow my paper work gets sent to the insurance company!! So excited!! We hope to find out by Monday or Tuesday!!!!

People with GHI: How long did you wait to get approved?? I have to wait until Feb 1st for them to send it in, but my date is set for Feb 12th! I'm so nervous!!!

Anyone hear of protizyme?? People say it is good (reviews online) but that it is kind of expensive. I don't really care about the price if I can stomach it haha.

It is so sad that you say Premier Protein because that's what I've been drinking!!! Lmao. I'm so picky. Why oh why can't ot taste like a frosty float??!!!

I'm February 12th!!! Still haven't got final approval because we have to wait until the 1st to send the stuff to the insurance company, although they are certain it will go through!!! I started my liquid diet today actually and I totally dislike Protein shakes... This is going to be the longest 21 days of my life!!!

I'm in my liquid pre-op diet stage and I have no idea how I am going to eat 3 of these a day for three weeks :-(

Any advice???

I'm so nervous. My surgery date is set for 2/12 so I just start my (almost) all liquid diet then. I'm worried about how hard it will be and I don't want to fail.

How did you handle starting the liquid diet?? Any advice?
