  1. Hey when was your surgery? I notice my weight is not flying off like it was anymore either. And I'm eating more. Just wondering how far out you are and how far out this is supposed to happen. :)

    Having the same issues as you weight loss slowed down and I've been more hungry this week esp. Than normal. I guess I need to learn to drink more when I get hungry. I was worried about the hunger everyone I've talked to us like I can't believe your hungry and your not even 3 months out.


  2. Day of surgery I was 240 now I'm 197.. I was just wanting to see if people that had surgery around the same time have lost that much .. I don't know if I'm on track or I need to step up what doing...I worry because I can't drink the Protein Drinks. SinceI I had surgery I hate everything sweet and them drinks taste like pure sugar and make me sick. I try to eat a lot of Protein in my foods but can only eat a few bites and I'm full... Tks ?de0a

    I was 255 the day if surgery today I was 217. My surgery was Dec 10, I feel my weight is coming off slow compared to others. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week but I feel it's not coming off as fast as the first month and a half. I too am not getting the protein I should. I only liked the banana but it has gotten to the point I can't even drink that. I need to find another drink with lots if protein. Let me know if you find anything.


  3. Remember to chew everything 20-30 times this makes it easier to swallow. Also make sure when you eat meat it is moist or you have gravy. I've had chicken legs and some breast meat but I found its easier to get the dark meat down because it has a moist texture...I like soft cook eggs but I like them with toast so those are out for me. I would imagine it would be easier to get that down.


  4. I drank warm Water, it took a little before it released but my book says if we get anything stuck to sip warm water...my Dr told me to eat 3. 1/4 cup meals a day and 1-2 Protein Shakes a day. My meals consist if all Protein chili, chicken, eggs I like egg and cheese omlets with some kind if meat in it. One omlet gets me 3 meals. I've had filet mignon but you need to chew it until its very smooth. Same with pork. I haven't had any veg or fruits yet but miss them.


  5. I had my surgery 12/10. One month ago today!! I'm down 36 lbs. But I agree do this for you, no one else. I've had only about 2 of my close friends not approve if what I was doing. The others are very supportive but I figure I'm doing this for me, to be more healthy and comfortable with who I am and although I love my friends dearly I don t need the negative feedback. I feel except me or its there loss.
