  6. does anyone have like a rumble feeling by their incisions? One of mine, every time I take a drink it does that.
  7. I've been drinking water all day, and maybe drank like 5 ozs so far
  8. I can't believe they put your drain so hi up. All my incisions are lower, near my belly button. The only one that is a little higher is the drain.
  9. They have me on just liquids, no protein or vitamins until the 24th
  10. I find it weird I have 4 holes and a hole for a drainage tube. They are all on my lower stomach. From pictures it looks like 5 holes in the shape of a V. Wonder why mine are different.
  11. they are saying that in the same breath to get in 64 ozs of liquid in lol
  12. it took until today (had surgery on the 16th) to finally get rid of the back pain caused by gas.
  13. I have the urge to want to throw up today, I really hope I don't, because I heard it was super painful.
  14. I'm trying to be as independent as I can. I still make my son's meals and cups, but since he is over 10 lbs I can't pick him up for 3 weeks I walk around the house pretty good.
  15. Some tmi but I had surgery on the 16th and haven't farted yet or bm...anyone else in the same boat
  16. maybe because it is just liquid?
  17. Nope, they said I looked pale when I came back from surgery. I think it was because I had trouble breathing because of where all the gas had settled. Then they said my blood count was low. I can get up to 1000 now on the incentive spirometer though.
  18. Try room temp water, it seems when I drink something too hot or cold, it makes me feel full.
  19. I'm probably getting 20-25 ozs of fluid in right now. I aim for 1 oz every 30 minutes while I'm awake. They said by Friday to move to 2 ozs every 30 minutes. I do have some killer back pain going on right now though.
  20. That's what I was thinking too. I know all the air has moved into my back-not very fun
  21. Thanks, just got home. Feeling a little sore that's about it
