  1. I will be thrilled to reach 150' date=' no less 140. GOOD FOR YOU in your journey. It feels amazing to wear size 8 & 10!!

My surgery is in 4 days..... I will break 200 before then!!! I am not really struggling to stay on this track (re: pre surgery eating & weight loss) to be honest. I just know myself and know that my pattern cycles and in a year from now, without RNY, I could easily be 240.

I'm not really in a rush to lose weight after RNY. My interest is being healthier! I'm praying this will help my diabetes and I am through with sugar and carbs.[/quote']

My main goal is Health!! I "was diabetic" and had high Blood pressure! Now free of both! Yay!! But the Diabetes I remained on the pills for another month

(I took 4 pills b4 surgery.... 2 after.. then no more!!)

I'm 48 with a 12 & 17 year old and was thinking of them!!! That I decided to do this! And I'm very happy that I did!!

Also make sure u EXCERISE start of walking and hand weights to work your upper arms!!

  2. Your stats are similar to mine. I am pre-surgery (April 17 date) with many concerns.

I am about to post some concerns as other topics. Since you started at similar stats to me' date=' maybe you can find my other topic and respond? It will be about pre-op weight loss. Part of my dilemma in this now is that my pre-op weight loss is amazingly fast (and actually now that I have looked at some people's stats POST surgery, appears to be faster). I am a yo-yo-er [/quote']

My pre-op they wanted me to lose about 20 lbs And I did my fitness pal and lost 10lbs in. 3 month.

Average weight loss is 10lbs a month! You may lose more or less!

    I recommended that you

"DO NOT" "WEIGHT YOURSELF DAILY" if u read some post they drive themselves crazy!!! You hit PLATEAUS!! When that happens you may start seeing inches come off!! Any other questions please ask.

  6. I haven't bought beef burger in years. We have used turkey burger for everything that takes hamburger. I had foster kids and they never knew the difference. Family or friends over and they had turkey burger and never noticed the difference. I don't buy the rolls of it' date=' never tried them. I buy it as you would regular hamburger in the square styrofoam tray.

    It's awesome!!!

  8. Is it sad that I look forward to old hippy girls responses on here?? I'm sorry but the stuff that she eats is not part of this program. We signed up for this to lose weight. Not keep our old habits. I see her posting that she eats pizza' date=' wings, corn, chocolate eggs today?? Why even bother having the surgery? I know it's not my life or my body that is being hurt here, but just some caution to others on here, eating those thing post op is not ok. I've lost 58lbs since December following my doctor and nuts orders and no where on the paperwork is 90% of the things she post that she eats... And how have you not experienced any dumping? Ok. Sorry I had to rant after reading her post tonight. *steps off his soap box*

Be careful i ranted about How people were on a stall after one or Two weeks! and some ppl bit my head off!! But it's good to get things of your Chest!! :)
