  1. I had a Tummy Tuck this past February. It was no cup of tea. For a month I pretty much had the movement of an 80 year old woman. However after 8 weeks I was perfect. I loved the results! I went down a few sizes in jeans and I'm not embarrassed about my stomach anymore! I'm looking into doing more cosmetic procedures soon.

    Wow!!! You look great...

  2. I finally came home, had my band to bypass revision on 1/31. I discharged Friday and was re-admitted Friday night... Thanking everyone for placing me in God's hands!!!! I still have the drain but removed the Q-pack this morning... My discomfort is now how I hear everyone else saying the burning and tenderness to the left side.... Just do glad to be home....

  3. This is where my pain was the worst and still hurts. I had two JP drains and when they puled the one from the left side I thought I was going to die. My program has us in the hospital for 3-4 days so we get Jp's out and you feel much better prior to discharge. I was told that alot of the equipment goes throught the left side so that side if often more tender. Like I said this is still my problem side and I had surgery the 24. Hope you feel better...

Thank you much! Regardless of the pain I've been waking walking and walking! I will be so glad to this drain out.... Congrats on your surgery!!

  4. I had my revision on Thursay jan.31, the surgery went well. I do have JP drain and a q bag, last night the pain was in bearable under my left breast, I was admitted back to the hospital last night... I hope it's just gas but it hurts....especially when I inhale. Has anyone experienced this?

  5. My band to RNY is scheduled for the 20th of February. I'm anxious to hear how yours goes. I'll be following!!

  6. Shoot' date=' I wasn't finished. lol I don't remember much about being in recovery other than being in a lot of pain and groaning a lot. lol I was able to walk up and down the hall about five times last night once I got over being so groggy. It helps, trust me! I ate ice chips and nothing else until this morning. I was brought Popsicles, Jell-O, Decaf coffee, and Crystal Light for breakfast but all I could tolerate at the time was ice chips. For lunch I got down about two bites of creamy Soup and two little plastic cups of Carnation Instant Breakfast. I have absolutely no appetite whatsoever so I'm having to force myself to drink Water. I am looking forward to losing the gas pains and swelling. :) Good luck to everyone! We can do this![/quote']

Congratulations!!!! I go for my band to bypass revision tomorrow @ 1030... Nervous!!!

  7. I am less than 24 hours away from my RNY and to be honest I don't know whether I'm scared or not. The biggest part of me is just ready to get the ball rolling and have that part over with. The other part of me is wondering what happens to my family if for some unknown reason that I don't make it out of surgery. Is anyone else or was anyone else worried about this as well? We all know that there is a risk' date=' but I pray that the benefits far outweigh the risks for me. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am for my 7:30am surgery which means the hubby and I have to be on the road by 4:00am. Ugh! At least I will have more time to recover which means I will work my butt off to come home on Wednesday.

My prayers are with you all, as always, but especially my fellow surgery buddies that will be going in tomorrow. I will try to keep you guys updated the best I can. dde0a[/quote']

My prayers are with you! No, you are not the only person with these feelings, I am extremely scared, feelings are all over the place.... Just know it's in Gods hands and were headed to a new beginning! Please keep us updated. I'm scheduled for Thursday @ 1030!

  8. Since I've started the shakes' date=' I've been having nightmares about the world ending. Last night, I made sure I went to Whataburger for one last meal and they were getting ready to close in preparation for the world's end.[/quote']

    Are you in Houston?

  9. Yes' date=' good luck all the Monday dates!!! :) Very excited for you guys. Keep us updated!! :)[/quote']
