My NUT said a recent research study indicates that it's the stress from surgery that affects the hair loss...any surgery. It usually starts abt 3 months after surgery and will taper off at about 6 months. Mine has started up, almost like clockwork, one week from 3 months! I'm trying not to be too concerned, and I really don't want to take another supplement! Going to the salon next week and I'll see what my stylist has to say!

Really struggling with the salt too. I think I need to clean out my environment. I can't be doing this every month! -

How about some NSVs!?!?

Going into uncharted size territory. I think I thought I was going to stop at size 16. But noooooo.... New pants are now loose! Weird. -
Hi Junies! I'm doing ridiculously well, in fact maybe too well...been falling into some bad food habits. Some things like crackers and even candy go down soooo easily. I'm clearly not a 'dumper', so I have to watch the sugar! I'm vegetarian -pescatarian really, shellfish only- and for Protein I do yogurt, Beans, and nuts mostly, plus one 30 gram Protein Shake in the morning. In restaurants I do well with shrimp, scallops, and mussels. I'm loving eating salad again too, kind of crave it. Having trouble with getting many veggies in, but once again I think it's bad habits as opposed to them disagreeing with me. Soooo...gotta work on the food it never ends! Down 68 lbs though!

Baby greens, cranberry, pecan, goat cheese, f free balsamic with a few cheddar cheese mini rice cakes. Yum. -
I have half cup of yogurt and a 1/4 cup of nuts, usually mixed cashews, almonds, and walnuts. I also have a mini babybel cheese before lunch mid morning. Lunch is hard for me too b/c I'm a teacher and I have like 22 minutes for lunch, no lie.

Baby greens salad, ricotta cheese and a gardein veggie burger. Burger did.not.sit.well! I added it for the protein and was able to keep it down, but no more of those for me. I wish I could just have salad w/o adding anything....maybe just some nuts and cheese next time! -
When did you feel hungry again?

I hope that's me too! -
Battled (and failed at battling) head hunger all weekend and Pouchy the Chooch was not amused. Still just had nibbles of this and that but not especially mindful or thoughtful about it. Bad habits. Tomorrow is a new day!

Potentially, I have 60 more lbs to lose and I can see sags and flaps already. So the first new things I've purchased are underwear and spanx-like garments. It helps a lot at this point. I'm hoping it will continue. I LOVE my new and changing body and wouldn't go back to that unhealthy, sweaty, out of breath, bloated, UNHAPPY woman for anything. Don't be discouraged! -
Very thin crust, very small piece and enjoyed 1/2 a slice. It was delicious, and pouchy liked it! I am 2 months post op.

Gardein products are excellent. I've been vegetarian for years and never bothered with the "meat" alternatives till I found gardein stuff. So glad you like it! Try the chipotle burgers, they are yummy. -
End of my first week back teaching and my colleagues and students have been so amazingly supportive! I am so grateful to all of them. If anyone asks me directly how I lost the weight I tell them I had surgery to help me not only lose weight but cure my HBP and sleep apnea, and that I am on a very strict food and exercise plan. They have all been wonderful. The more support the better!

May I ask which one you prefer? I've had a couple of unpleasant bouts of constipation and I am anxious to find a 'routine' thing I can use to keep everything humming, so to speak. -
