  1. Thank you honey, no regrets here. I'll take it a day at a time like my surgeon says. Good luck to you all, they really keep a close eye in you and only let you go if everything checks out ok.
  2. I have read so many posts from people doing their Pre Op for upcoming surgery. and I am so Puzzled how this process can be so dramatically different. My surgeon only requires a liquid diet the day prior to surgery, but I also have seen posts from some of a 3 Day Pre Op liquid diet, 2 Week Pre Op liquid diet, 1 Month Pre Op liquid diet. I am really puzzled how this process can be so different. I am grateful that mine is only 1 day prior, as i honestly would find 2 weeks or longer on liquids very difficult. I know my Surgeon and his partners know their stuff as the have 30 years of combined experience, and this is all they do at ALSA Bariatric Center in Fresno , they also train doctors all over the world, I'm just curious why the differences. I was just approved by Insurance yesterday and set for surgery next Tues 4/23/13. Any thoughts are appreciated. I pray for all who had surgery recently and all those waiting on upcoming surgery like myself, for a Speedy Recovery and Happy New Beginnings. I look forward to this New Journey of my life, and I am Happy to Share this experience with you all, Good Luck and God Bless.
  3. Thanks Rem, yes as long as you keep fluids down and passing urine as well as walking you can go home. They had some issues with my Blood Pressure being low and my Blood Sugar being high after surgery, but they seen to have stabled out now. I am really sore, but glad to be home.
  4. My surgery went well on 4/23/13, I went home yesterday, still really sore and tired. I am walking and taking in clear liquids, not a lot but enough they said. My pouch likes jello and Popsicles The surgeon found a Hernia he had to surgically repair, and a lot of scar tissue they had to remove, he said it was really 3 surgeries he gad to do, so now I know why I'm sore. I haven't had any problems with nausea at all Thank Goodness.
  5. Thank you, I sure will post once I am able. Best I'd luck to you all.
