Awesome thank you...but I'm just scared to get a hernia, cause my doctor said starting too soon can cause them.

Ok so I am 4 weeks post op and I feel like I'm eating and drinking ALL THE TIME! I try so hard to get my Protein in with drinks and shakes and food and then on top of that the Snacks and Water. So this comes to this question. What does your daily eating schedule look like! And pointers would be great cause again I feel like all I do is eat (small portions) and drink and scared its stretching my pouch!

WOW!! I'm post of 4/17 and I too began the worst 48 hours ever. I cannot eat or drink anything!!! I'm so glad I came across your thread. I started with zofran again today which helped but didn't solve. I'm finishing out 48 hours w/no Protein and hardly even Water. I was in bathroom much of the night. I'm going to try a cracker in a few mins.I hear ya it has not been fun.
-
Thank you guys I will for sure do the crackers...it has been a roller coaster day and really didn't eat anything.

Today I'm feeling sick to my stomach. I got up and ate an egg hoping that would make me feel better. But it didn't. Has anyone felt so sick and/or nauseous and didnt eat anything? I just feel if I do try and eat something I'm going to puke. I barley was able to keep my Vitamins down with Water. Any body has suggestions on what I should do?

I know dehydration is not fun. I am glad you got the IV and I know I felt much better after having a bag of Fluid. I try so hard but can't get in more than 50 oz. That is including my Protein shake for Breakfast. Frustrating but I will continue pushing on and I know it will get better and time is my friend It is so nice to be able to talk to others that are going through what you are going through.Oh I know, its something to relate too. I'm going to try again and shoot for 64oz today ,good luck today and hope your doing well!
-
OH NO!!!! I am so glad you got to the hospital and got the IV though!!
How are you feeling today?
I am 1wk post op and have been doing amazing until last night - just was really nauseous and did everything to avoid throwing up - eventually landed in a cool shower at 2am. I dont know why that happened out of nowhere.
Otherwise' date=' I am getting 64oz in me no problem. Can't wait to be able to eat some new things next week.[/quote']
I am feeling so much better today thank you for asking.
That isn't fun feeling like that. I hope you feel better!

Aww no bueno! Hope you guys are feeling better. I slacked a little today with the fluids but ate an little more. It was bad' date=' I blended 2 spoonfuls of my spouse's beef burrito. I couldn't take it anymore, needed something other than Soup. Ugh, will probably pay for it later.[/quote']Home now and feeling so much better....and you blended it! How did that taste? I got to eat egg drop soup from a chinese restaurant and it went down fine. Thank goodness!

Hey Ladies!! I am seeing everyone is doing amazing...! This passed week I reached 199lbs which I haven't been in the 100's since I was maybe in middle school. This is such an amazing feeling! I am almost 4 months post op and down a total of 64lbs. My thing is I want to stay motivated and get on a workout routine! How are all of you staying motivated?
