  1. I'm sore....but I expected that. Much like healing from my RNY only over a broader surface with more incisions!

Mami' date=' yes, I want my breasts and arms lifted. I'll have to save my money for those because my insurance says those are "cosmetic"! Yeah....cosmetic.....my breasts look like fried eggs nailed to a board (my bariatric surgeon thinks my breasts need lifted), and my arms look like wings....if a strong enough wind takes hold, I'll take off in flight like a flying squirrel! Lol

    my superpower is......[/quote']

Did you pay for your tummy

  2. Besides my breast deflated from a 44DD to a 33B I'm actually okay. My skin is a little loose between my thighs but I notice the more I focus on building muscle the better it gets. Also i take two showers a day and spend about 15 minutes lotioning my skin and found its helped tremendously.

J still have an apron tummy but with my panty Spanx I look sexy in my size 9 skinny jeans.

  3. My advise..this too shall pass. I've told myself this over and over and still tell myself with things like hair loss now. This too shall pass and so far it always has. It's so worth it!

I wanted to hit like twice on your comment!

  4. Had my surgery on March 2013 and I'm 5 months post op. Ive been on this HORRIBLY challenging 2 month stall out. I noticed my clothes have been really loose but I couldn't tip that 100 lb weight loss.

Well Yaaaahoo.. I woke up at 158.8 lbs. That's a total of 100.2 lbs wright loss.

Only 7.8 lbs to my goal weight.

  6. Ok.... I'm about to get some back lash. (already ducking and taking cover)

BUT LADIES... It's not them, its us!

Okay.. let me break it down!

We Super Women set this up and then we get pissed because we haven't train this overly taken care lazy men. LOL

For example... I bet most of you can cook your butts off, try to keep and organize your homes and know exactly what to do to cater to your men. Why, cause we're the cream of the crop ... We're Super Women!

When we first start dating these lazy bastards we're super happy and all in love. "oh ... He he he how cute his clothes are on the floor, let me pick them up" .. or "baby are you hungry, here's your meal".. "are you done, let me get your plate"

Ok.. wait! That's what us ladies are suppose to do right? NOPE!

My momma always says.. "Never make his plate unless you plan to do it for the entire relationship." LOL. She also said... Always divi-up the chores and never do his or else you'll be doing it for the entire relationship.

Yes.. my moms a character BUT she also just celebrated her 30th wedding renewal and might I say those two are still in love and sex.crazy.

We have to change them gradually without letting them know we're doing it. I personally just ain't a gradual kinda person. I started leaving large hand written notes.

"I AM NOT YOUR MAID, NOR YOUR MOM."

"I GUESS YOU WERE NEVER GOOD AT BASKETBALL CAUSE YOUR CLOTHES HAVE CLEARLY MISSED THE BASKET"

"A HAPPY WIFE IS A HAPPY LIFE... DOING ALL THE CHORES DOESN'T MAKE ME HAPPY.. MORE LIKE CRAPPY"

my favorite.... I throw little slight subliminal comments. "I was watching Y&R today and Nick was cleaning his house.. that's so sexy" or this man was on this cooking show cooking a special dinner for his stay at home wife. Awwww it was so sweet.

  7. If could be a number of things. Like everyone says antibiotics can create yeast infections. Also... While in the hospital you would have received an IV of Vitamins. Also when you get home you're putting a ton of Vitamins into your body... In addition the more weight you lose the more you're hormones will shift and surface because the fat is no longer in the way. What happens is your body will only except so much vitamins and then dispose of the rest through your pee and for us women... vaginal discharge. The same is for your hormones.. some is disposed through your pee or discharge. This discharge will come in waves as your hormones shift or your body expells vitamins.

Think of discharge as your garbage shoot... It's actually a good thing.

  8. I got a really nice pantie girdle from Target for 5 ... Most of them are always like 50% off.

I own Spanx but I love the panties better. They go all the way up to under my bra so I get great support.

Wait... I actually have a lot that I just cleared out of my closet. How much are you weighing? What size are you? And.. where do you live.

    ~Leticia **HW: 259**PreOp: 216**SURG: 3/21/13 **Discharged @: 221** 5 months post op. CW: 160.0 lbs. On a 2 month stall BUT --- Only 10 lbs to my goal ---

  9. It's your hormones. 3-4 months after surgery they go wake! Plus the more weight you lose the more hormones begin to surface because the fat is no longer around to block them. I went thru the same thing. I used proactive for a good month until my hormones chilled the heck out.

    ~Leticia **HW: 259**PreOp: 216**SURG: 3/21/13 **Discharged @: 221** 4.5 mons post op. CW: 160.0 lbs. --- Only 10 lbs to my goal ---

  10. Hang in there... It gets much much better. What will happen is one day you'll wake up and the psin will just be gone. I noticed when my tummy was wrapped tight it relieved sins of the pain. I used a panty girdle that went up right below my breast and it didn't push on the areas my staples were in. Having my stomach bonded helped tremendously during my walks.. I was actually super fast power walking at the end of week 2 and jogging be week 5..

(i was released before my 6 weeks)

  12. I was told that Constipation is normal... I might not be tho and to expect not to go every day until I take in more food. My Dr said they don't get concerned about it until the patients go beyond 10 with no BM. I think I went to 7 or 8 days. I felt horrible too. It was like I was filled with toxins that made me fill sick and tired.

  13. My doctor never suggested a calorie limit either. 11g of Protein is great. I have an Excel spreadsheet that has almost 100 grocery store' date=' frozen, and fast food items that are all high in Protein (and I'm adding to it all the time). Forum rules don't allow me to post it but I'd be glad to email it to you if post your email address or PM it to me. I've sent it to dozens of folks here on the forum. One of the biggest (and best) surprises I've had following my RNY has been the number of delicious, high protein options there are out there!![/quote']

Can you send it to me too...
